What do you all actually want?

Understandable.

I am looking for more campaign expansions. Besides that, I am not really sure. Infinite is lacking compared to older games.

I am not sure what they were thinking by going F2P, but so far, I got the impression that they wanted to slowly add modes and features, which older games had right off the bat (or shortly thereafter), over the course of the 10 years to keep players engaged, so to speak. I hope I am wrong but that’s how it feels to be honest.
I wish they could have just looked at the MCC or H5 and tweak things from there instead.

I want a game where their Automagic Matchmaking server that thinks 250ms ping times is better than 25 ms ping times is put to death and the old, but reliable, manual Server Selector (as in Halo 5 or MCC) are brought back.

80%+ of my Solo 4v4 or BTB games have 250 ms ping times. 343 matches me to a Server in Amsterdam when i’m in Alberta Canada. 20% of the time I connect at 25 ms ping times and i know from playing MCC, the nearest servers are in Seattle.

A First Person Shooter at 4 fps is pure and utter Junk and unplayable.

But the game is still broken at the fundamental Server Selection Level. 80% of my matches are 250 ms ping times because there server can’t figure out that Alberta Canada is not near Amsterdam. The other 20% of the time, I connect to Seattle and have 25 ms ping times.

Indeed the game is still broken.
Apparrently when Lone Wolves launches, we should also see quite a few updates that should further optimize the game and fix a few annoying glitches.

Am I excited for Season 2? Not exactly because if this turns out to be a lie, I might just wait until Season 3 to spend time in Forge making maps so that when the game is actually fixed up; I can file share them for all to enjoy when the game is functional.

just going off the title.

I want a house in the Hamptons, a 1986 group B Audi Quattro S1 evo2 or a Peugeot 205 T16 evo2, and to never pay taxes again.

Lol. Nice.

I’m a simple man. Give me a paid off mortgage, a few more kids and fewer working hours so I might enjoy it and I’ll die a happy man.

As far as Halo goes: my cup is at this point overflowing.

Are you on drugs or always this optimistic about everything in life? This is arguably the worst Halo game in the worst state that a Halo title has ever been yet your overflowing with optimism…I just don’t see what you’re seeing.

If I was an investor. You’re idea already has me listening. :+1:

I want the complete Halo experience with the new style Infinite is supposed to be providing.

I want the ranked playlists: 2v2 Team Slayer, 6 Player FFA Slayer, 4v4 Attrition, 4v4 Arena (King of the Hill, Oddball, Strongholds, Capture the Flag), 4v4 Team Slayer, Monthly/Seasonally rotating mode (4v4 Team Snipers, FFA Snipers, 1v1 Slayer, etc.)

I want the social party modes experiences: Team Snipers, Escalation Slayer (Gun Game), Grifball, Infection, Swords and Hammers, etc.

I want a Customs Browser to be able to join random games (social or competitive in nature) and to be able to easily host custom lobbies.

I want the Co-Op campaign and other fun co-op pve modes, eg. Firefight.

I want a sense of progression: Career Progression in the form of Halo Reach Inheritor ranks, SR152, anything really.

I want a sense of community in the game: File Share, Pregame Lobbies (With Map Veto, Game Chat and Party Up Features) and Detailed Service Records (showing ranked playlists ranks, career progression, campaign stats, multiplayer stats, game time, etc.) and be able to view other peoples Service Records with ease.

I want the events to feel like BIG things that I dont want to miss out on.
Christmas events for example could add a snowy aesthetic to maps, add christmas decorations to maps, weapons and armour, a new weird and wonderful event mode like a snowball fight mode or something.

I want to be rewarded for playing the game (and not in a very specific way ie. challenges). I want to complete a match and be rewarded for winning and for playing well.

I want aspirational achievements to aim for. Give us things like special armour for reaching Onyx rank, ranked nameplates, weapon coatings for completing challenges in a similar way to how Call of Duty has camo challenges for weapons.

Forge, Coop, File share, more weapons, more game modes.
And armor you can actually earn.

Then you and your opinion share equal worth.

It’s a matter of perspective. Probably more than you were asking for, but you asked.

I feel I can tell a lot about a person’s personal demons by what they complain about. My life is cushioned, as most are in the US, but I have enough struggle to put video games into perspective.

I’m learning over time that my stream of consciousness is defined by struggle. And when I have none I go looking for it. The difference between me and others here is that I choose not to look for the game to be bad. Halo is the one avenue in life when I just turn the brain off and buy in, because the cost of doing so is effectively nothing (as opposed to the more important things in life like my job, kids and the mortgage where the wrong move means trouble for people who depend on me). I just play. I don’t check the ping box, for example, because then I’ll be analyzing it and will inevitably be disgruntled by it even though my circumstances are 100% the same as they were before the box was checked.

I choose optimism here because life can be tough as it is without me spending time airing grievances about my favorite pass time. On the contrary, I do get a perverse joy out of being the non-conformist in a crowd, and this place marries those two tendencies. And in that vein there is also a little bit of skepticism as to the severity of the problems people post about because my experience with Infinite has been pretty much in line with prior games.

Furthermore, now is literally the best time to be a Halo fan. Between the MCC, Guardians, Infinite, the spin off games, all the books, podcasts, audio dramas, and a TV show, there is literally more Halo content to consume than I have time for. That’s what is meant by ‘overflowing’. And there’s even more if I were engaged with the twitch/YouTube stuff, but I’m not.

As per the stoics (the ancient Greeks, not the ancient San Shyum), happiness and anger are not things that happen to you; they are choices you’re making.

Probably more than you were asking for, but you asked.

And then you say something like that and expect someone to give you respect, smh

Yeah a lot more than I asked for. I find it intriguing that you compare and contrast real life struggles to the state of a video game franchise. For someone like myself, the state of Halo Infinite is the same as buying any other product of the shelf that does not meet my standards or expectations…I make a complaint about it and ask for a refund. Unfortunately Halo Infinite doesn’t work like that and any complaints I make on here are simply feedback for a sub standard product. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not you, and I don’t want yours anyway. It’s meaningless.

Is this another troll thread like your “give me back my credits”?

You’ll get to know this one as the pretentious lot, springing up subjects that are entirely irrelevant to what you argued. You never mentioned ranked, which is true, but we live in the age of whataboutism, so my condolences go out to you.
