what do y'all think about clans

I like clans in the halo community because I believe it makes it more fun knowing that there is more stuff going on the side but I know Halo Reach is dying but clans could help stop that I know many people don’t see the point of clans but it did help me get better in halo so clans could be bad and could not be bad it all needs to just all come together so yeah o want to read/listen to what y’all will have to say… bye.

Halo reach is holding on for now.
Clans or no clans I think reach will be around for a long time to come buddy.

I’m not so sure look at what happened to Halo 2 :frowning:

Hey guys,

A few of my friends and I have decided to make a new gaming community/clan. We were in a rather large clan a few years ago (1,500 members or so) and want to try to recreate that. If you’re interested, message me on xbox live. My GT is ll Alex ll (those are L’s not i’s).

We would love to have you. All good things have to begin somewhere, and joining now pretty much guarantees a leader position down the road.

Thanks!

I’ve loved the ideas of clans. Before the major overhaul of the Halo Waypoint website I had the idea of fully incorporating clans into a Halo game. I love the idea of a community of Halo players and I thought it would be cool if clans were actually real things that existed in the Halo games rather than be loosely based through Xbox Live. You’d be able to create your own clan emblem, have your own name (maybe call them teams instead of clans until that’s what exists in the Halo universe: Noble Team, Crimson Team, etc.), and compete against other clans in matchmaking. You would be able to invite players into your clan through the game rather than having to leave a message to the player through Xbox Live. As incentive for the weekly clan competitions have the winners unlock a piece of armor or a weapon skin. I’ve tried creating a Halo 4 clan, but I’ve failed to start it up until I don’t have Gold membership usually. A clan system built into a Halo game would help bring a sense of community that Bungie had as well as keep Halo players playing Halo.

Here’s the link to my original idea/concept: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/d76f090378914a9bb85312f87cf09b99/topics/halo-clans/00e6ced3-6251-4382-9e0a-f1230ecad997/posts?page=1#post7

When clans should be nothing more but a role play in a way it doesn’t matter but you do have more things to do and also you could even get more skill from clans as well. But the pros of clans are 1. You will have more people to play with. 2. You can get better at the game as well. 3. People will know who you are as well. and there is much more as well like you can be a better leader have more friends make more friends and also make you feel like you are doing something use full as well. I don’t think all clans are jerks or even annoying as well anyone can make a clan so yeah and everyone here needs to know clans NEEDS members in a game more members means more people on the game as well. And also all clans are different and have different goals some clans want Reach to stay as the best game for clans as well. And also the jerk clans as well clans can make or broke everything 343 also need to know clans is what are going to be a big thing in halo games as well. There are many cons as well I have lead clans (it was annoying because I had the wrong people to be leaders of the clan) I know what are some cons and some pros as well. Do I like clans yes if the leader and members don’t get butt hurt over small -Yoink- and don’t even talk to you about the problems and leaders who just -Yoink- to get more members as well. And clans who just talk hell of (to keep this PG) poop but won’t even fight you and just pick on you because they know you are a smaller clan than them. So yes clans are good but in the same time no they are also bad. But thank you Xbox for a mute and block option as well. I have been a leader squad leader a member and more I have been with clans but I am still new to the community but I do know people who have been here since halo 2. So yeah all it is in the end is who you are.

Clans are just a way of keeping halo reach alieve and a way of uniting players to reach a common goal, being the best and having fun. If all of that was removed then what would be the point of clans?

I was just in a clan about 5 days ago. Was. I quit because they were never online, and all we did was play custom games. It was boring. I quit 2 days later. All the clans I’ve been in never play online, even though we met on line.

e escuchado que no son recomendables

Probably looked in the wrong places. My clan does online mm a LOT. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/504760bd1678460abcc89e5f5e1ad7a1/topics/blades-of-renewal-mainly-uk-eu-based/ff4204a2-e12d-4fc9-8a0b-d8612548ed0f/posts?page=2#post25

I was once in this clan that made you say permission to speak or say yes sir to the leader which I is like slaving your clan but the clan im in is rather nice and doesnt slave you like the other clan so it depends what clans you joi

Militaristic clans with tons of members and strict policies aren’t really my thing.

I like clans with a few players who everyone in the clan knows (Maybe 10-15 members), and just play to have fun recreatioally and competitively.

I play with a clan. They are called my friends.

Don’t waste your time joining a clan as most are made up of rubbish players. Just find some reliable online buddies who play regularly and play with them. We come up against the odd clan in BTB all the time and they really don’t have much strategy about them. One last night quit in pre game lobby as we had destroyed them on a few occasions. There was 6 of them and only 3 of us.

the halo reachcommunity is filled with clans

way more then halo 4

I love clans. Currently I’m the Vice President of the 99thregiment Halo Reach clan. They provide a community of people to play with, which is always a good thing.

I see your point but that’s only one clan, not every clan is like that.

Join UAF they are always online last time I joined them

I don’t think that they will be updating Halo Reach until 2020 on its 10 year anniversary…
