So can some on explain how the different attributes of weapons are affected by modules? A few examples:
- Laser sight improves accuracy but stabilizers improve recoil so the gun is easier to control. So what does accuracy mean in 343s terms since hip fire spread isn’t really a thing in halo. - On weapons with kinetic bullet mods it improves vehicle damage but also “knock back.” Does this mean it affects recoil (again) or maybe something like flinch (it does feel like it kills faster + is more accurate but that might just be in my head). - Do we know how effective long barrel actually is? - For that matter do we know the balancing on the armor mods? I.e. How much extra boosts does enhanced shields give you? It’s uncommon but it seems like the common health/shield speed regenerator is actually more useful.
For your first point it just means a reduced bullet spread when zoomed in and when not zoomed in, for instance maybe your gun with the extra accuracy has the spread a normal one does when you fire it crouched.

Thanks. I can understand that. Truthfully I wasn’t aware that halo even had a significant bullet spread other than shotguns.
where u get those info ??
I recently acquired the AR with stabilizers, and it basically doesn’t move when i’m shooting. Plus, it looks like it has two lighters on the side, just in case Johnson comes back and wants to light his cigar with it.
I have an AR longshot with the kinetic bullets and it seems like it does more damage when I’m fighting ghosts and stuff but having it with longshot makes it harder to try and land shots at longer ranges since it’s less stable. Kind of a weird combo.

Long barrel as far as I’m aware does… nothing. It might make the bullet spread tighter and more centre focused (better for longer distances) or something… I’m not too sure. Do the weapons such as the AR use projectiles or hitscan?
