What do we want in halo 5 to stay in halo 6

• Stuff that should stay

  • Warzone- great concept and fun game mode but it needs serious changes to fix its problems like farming etc.
  • New game modes- h5 has some added some cool game modes like breakout (old version) and extermination that I hope return in the future
  • Forge- do I even even need to elaborate, h5 is the best forge in halo by far and easily it’s best feature and it should continue to improve and innovate, but it needs to be there at launch this time around.
    -New weapons/vehicles- h5 added/brought back some great new weapons and vehicles (plasma caster, wasp, hunter cannon, grenade launcher, etc) and some that are not so great (hydra). So i hope that most of these weapons return.
    -Req weapons- the only good thing to come from the req system were the weapons and vehicles which all just incredible but I hope they come back and not he req system.
    -New enemies- h5 added some pretty creative and awesome new enemies that were loved by the community like the grunt goblin that I hope returns.
    -Update system- Even though h5 launched with very little content the way they updated the game with content worked very well imo so if they do it again it would be perfect as long that everything that should be there at launch is there.

-Spartan abilities- alright ik I’m not the only one who feels this way but I am just really sick of the spartan abilities. At first I was ok with and and eventually grew to like it but now I’m just tired of seeing it. By adding the spartan abilities 343 was following the “enhanced mobility” trend that a lot of games followed in order to try to innovate halo but now that trend has died (thank god). If they bring back spartan abilities they would ironically be seen as a game stuck in the past. What they need to do is bring the old h2/h3 gameplay style that we all know and love. Imo games today are trying to be unique and if halo goes back to the ways things were so it can be different again.
-Req system- This needs to go plain and simple. Too many games have been ruined by micro transactions but most recently battlefront 2 that really brought down an otherwise great game. I don’t want go see this happen to halo 6 even though the req system wasn’t that bad compared to battlefront it’s still not good. Armor should be unlocked through either a credit system like Reach or through completing achieved/ daily challenges. Only good thing that came out of the req system were the req weapons which are just incredible but other than that it needs to go, hopefully recent news surrounding loot crates helps put an end to all micro transactions for good.

Maybe the grunt mechs and some of the req weapons but honestly I hope not much from 5 makes it into 6. To me it’s pretty clear H6 may need to be a total revamp of Halo. I would like to say keep the current mechanics but Spartan charge in it’s current state is total toilet. All I want in H6 is a better Campaign, back to individual Spartans no teams since friendly AI will always be toilet as well. A more complete game at launch and most importantly :100: percent functional, no more buggy games.

I want nothing from Halo 5 in Halo 6.

I agree with you completely. But come on halo 5 has some pretty kick -Yoink- forge.

Ice and fire skin, anything you have to earn should transfer really, it would suck to have the ice unicorn skin and not be able to bring it along (side note, the weapon skins make the game feel like its… well… a game… it takes away the realism, i would be much more open to somthing like patches we could put on our armor)

Go back 7.8 years, and restore the working concept of the game mode “Invasion”. Warzone is a chaos by comparison, and unfitting of a truly robust objective based game mode for organized teams. I am not making the argument that it can’t be done, I am just saying that Invasion does it hell of a lot better than this, and it previous iteration Dominion.

The only thing from H5 I’d like to see in H6 is the thrust pack.
No sprint, no spartan charge, no ground pound, just the thruster.

This + balanced weapon system + Competitive ranking + variety of game modes + good maps + good customization system = Good Halo Game.

My favourite thing from halo 5 is the weapon variants . E.g basic cabine / medium power carbine / strongest cabine i really liked that concept would love to see some of these stay and implemented into campaign. Imagine a level that gets harder and harder then you pick an answer and a norfang, then you totally destroy wave after wave of enemy !!! That would be so fun you would feel like a kick -Yoink- master chief again , a one man army !!! But most importantly for me is a decent campaign, a complete game at launch ( all playlists there ) but number 1: NO BUGS , NO GLITCHES, NO HEAVY AIM A FULLY FUNCTIONAL WORKING TITLE !!! Enough is enough 343 should of learnt , listened to the community and have everything at there disposal as a AAA title game developer. Make it happen , make it good , take my cash I’m ready .
