What Do We Expect From 343i In 2022?

  1. I expect 343i Halo Infinite to fix the Custom Game area, Custom Game Browser and Forge For Halo Infinite soon!

  2. I expect 343i to add Halo 2, Halo 2A and Halo 4 to be add to the Halo MCC Custom Game Browser Soon!

So What do you guys expect 343i to do in 2022?

  1. About 5 or so maps for Infinite. 2 BTB and 3 for 4v4.

  2. Lots of gamemodes: Infection, Grifball, Duos, Assault, Extraction, etc. Though some of these are dependant on Forge.

  3. Forge/Co-op. This has been stated by 343i already so nothing surprising.

  4. Campaign DLC. I would guess the Flood in October or something but its hard to predict for this game.

  5. bugfixes/fanservice.

I expect nothing, except perhaps to be let down again.

Bug fixes for sure. Fix big team battle so the playlist actually functions. Store adjustments, especially adjusting the price of a lot of the bundles. New maps and the return of missing gamemodes from previous games. Adding some more free cosmetics so that people can have at least some decent amount of customization available without dropping $100+ in the store.

I expect nothing…because they gave us very little to begin with lol.

I’m usually an optimistic person, but with 343 it really is a toss up on what happens.

They can make a delicious pizza, but it definitely will not come with the toppings you ordered…

I expect to see new cool new maps from Halo Online onto MCC but as for as I’m concerned for Infinite I’m mostly expecting to be mostly disappointed this year and have serious doubts 343i will make any major changes to change my views on this. With how 343i have handled Halo 4/5/6 and how they handled the launch of MCC…I’m seriously wondering if 343i should continue to be in charge of the Halo IP.

I know it’s a longshot, but this shouldn’t have to be a long shot since it’s so simple:

Allow Weapon Variants in the campaign to use the ammo of their regular counterparts. As it stands right now, there’s almost no incentive to use them since you have to drop them after three minutes into any battle.
