What do those white bars above the UNSC base Health Bar mean?

Sometimes they’re full and sometimes they all aren’t

It shows the defense level of your base.

More bars, more defense the base has.

You will notice that the number of bars increases when you build more buildings.

Fun fact: The more elephants you lock inside your base, the stronger it becomes.

It also works for every other unit in the game for UNSC and covenant. I just had to test it out after Mitch made that video. Technically it only makes the center of the base stronger, lessening the damage done from a MAC or Carpet Bomb. Most other unit’s attacks will have the same effect on the base.

It increases base health and defense

There should be a total of 7 stripes, blank at first, but filling in white as you build a building.

If your base is a tier 1 base (3 slots), then 3 of the stripe will be big, and 4 will be small, because you only have 3 slots to build in.

If you have tier 2 base, 5 big stripes to fill in with buildings, 2 small.
If you have tier 3 base, 7 big stripes, 0 small.

All buildings built will increase the life/armor of the central base.
