Since there is no documentation for the Custom Game Browser can somebody explain what these are?

  1. What does Casual setting mean?

  2. What does Competitive setting mean?

  3. What dies MINI setting mean?

  4. Why are my maps called a untrusted files?

Casual vs competitive just means they use different settings. Like on most competitive modes the radar is disabled or there is no bloom, but it variea.

Mini if I remember right is a modded setting thatales all player super tiny.

The ā€œuntrusted filesā€ are maps and modes made by PC players. They are ā€œuntrustedā€ because theoretically they may hide setting in the files to hurt your Xbox or PC. But alot of them are fine and usually really fun modded modes and maps.

I don’t know if the untrusted files are purely an Xbox OS integrity security measure or if it’s more of a parental control thing. Either way, there’s currently no known danger of a PC gametype or forge map. It might be a pre-emptive move just in case something like that happens.

1, 2, and 3 are categories. Players browsing can use it to filter out what they don’t like or look for certain kinds of games. MINI means minigame. Stuff like Hog Potato or Stepping Stones or Speed Halo or Ghostbusters.

It’s weird because the few maps that I made in Firefight a long time ago to make the weekly challenges easier have all been changed to an untrusted file as of this update. They were made by me so I don’t get why they’re suddenly untrusted. I’m on Xbox by the way.
