To me it means everyone gets muted. Anyone else got any ideas? What does 343 think?
I never had a problem with the muting feature
It means “Lose most of your games in Arena” to me

…or it could mean not having to hear that sweaty kid shouting in his mic all the time…

Out of the 2,000+ games I’ve played of Halo 5 MP I have only met around 10 people MAX that were like that. How about you wait until the game starts then find out if they are the all so bad sweaty kids? I mean, not everybody is like that and for every person who doesn’t communicate or work together with his team, the more likely you are to lose, not that it’s certain.
To me, it means that I can get a break from listening to the whiny dumb -Yoink- that sucks at the game, the idiot who feels the need to play awful music over the mic, or the obnoxious teenagers that won’t shut up. Sadly, it doesn’t always work.
It means exactly that. It mutes everyone in the game.
To me, it means mute everyone because 343 still hasn’t fixed the issue where someone’s name and mic icon doesn’t show up when they’re talking and I don’t feel like muting each person individually while in the game.

Casuals be casual.
Freedom from hearing another Eminem song covered by Xminecraftxx69, or DaNkBlUnTz’s mom vacuuming in the distance through his Kinect that he didn’t know was on.
It plainly means nothing to me… It rarely works for me.
It’s better now, but sometimes I can’t mute, which sucks because almost every time I open a game of warzone, the first thing I hear is someone coughing.

Literally have met 3 kids like that in almost a year of playing. Most people I meet on mic are BIG Halo fans that love to WIN.

You’re so lucky as most of the time I run into drunk people screaming barely understandable words into the mic who yells at the team for not winning
It means “don’t talk to me, I’m too salty over my last game” or “shut up, I don’t care about your family affairs”
It means nothing to me because no one ever uses a mic anymore. Don’t have to mute what I don’t hear.
It means safety.
Nothing. Because I’m in a private party talking to my friends all the time.
Mute everyone accept…
The squeaker you pressed the ‘mute all’ button for?
Duh?
…
(Squeaker, kinect, bad music, bg noise, non English)
I love hearing the garbled sound of somebody shooting being picked up by their Kinect
It means I don’t have to hear 10 year olds eat cheetos right in their mic, people blaring music (trash music at that), and the kid who sounds like my 3 year old nephew.
