I’ve been wondering what do they and do they ever need to eat at all. In all the games we never see chief eat musnt he be hungry during halo 1 or any other halos. He could eat during the cutscenes but it seems halo 1 hes always in action and if they eat what do they eat space cows?

They eat normal food, although ration food. They are still human, not machine
Do you have the special edition of Halo 4? The booklet with it explains that the Spartan IVs each have their own unique diet based on their physical build so the augmentations don’t get rejected.
