As much as H5 seemed to be disliked should they continue the series in the direction H5 was going? should they continue on with what will be a “created” vs “creator” war? Or should they wrap up H5 in outside media like a book or comic as they did with H4 and start H6 in a new direction? I read somewhere that they wouldn’t mind seeing H6 tied to what ever happens in Halo Wars 2. not a terrible idea I think… But as I watched Nightfall again the other night I though hey it would be cool to see H6 tied to it. just make a squeal, whether it be movie or even just 30 min to an hour long show about events after it. Have Halo 6 explore which group of the Covies that the elite was part of and why did they launch such an attack? was their a plan to go after a bigger target next? if there was deposits of that biological material on one piece of Halo ring couldn’t their be more on another piece? could be interesting.
Wait so is this a campaign thing or a multiplayer/gameplay thing?
I’d prefer if they continue on with the created vs creator war. Don’t like halo 5’s plot or what it entails in future games but starting halo 6 off in a new direction would probably only be a repetition of Halo 5’s mistakes and even if they do it right, which I highly doubt given the 343’s current writing team will more or less be the same for halo 6, it’ll only piss of the fanbase as its basically disregarding the lore and the plot of , however bad they may be, of Halo 4 and 5.

More of a campaign story wise…
Just stick to what they got at this point. Halo 5 apparently was changed due to community reception. Even if the plot right now isn’t too good, it could still be fixed I believe. Halo Wars 2 is going to have a big impact on the story of Halo 6 so that could be good or bad.
I think the Halo 5 campaign story was uninspired, but they’re already taking it into interesting areas. I say keep going forward and make it better.
Finish it in a game. Ending the Created arc in external media would probably just make things worse.

this.
One of Halo 5’s story’s biggest criticisms is how much it relies on external media to fill players in on what’s going on. If Halo 6 comes along and doesn’t pick up where Halo 5 left off and we’re told, “oh yeah, we wrapped that story arc up in some comic book or novel”, then it will just result in a big repeat of Halo 5’s backlash.
> Halo 3: Finish the Fight
I bet if they did the whole book thing it might ruin the series a little more. They did it with Halo 5 and Escalation. I rather see them finish the fight and get it over with but with a bang. And maybe instead of some Warthog run it was some Falcon air run.
