what diificulty

so what campaign difficulty are you going to do first?

Im personally going to start on legendary solo and probably end up getting annoyed and doing heroic

Easy FTW

Easy.

I’m gonna go legen… wait for it… dary!

Heroic solo then Legendary co-op.

Normal, so I can understand the story without ten hour gaps between cutscenes and key parts of the story. Then Legendary, I don’t know if this’ll be cooperative or solo.

i allways play every halo game on easy first so i can enjoy the story, halo 4 will be no different.

Heroic, just the right amount of challenge for me

Normal and easy just get so boring

heroic. legendary will be annoying for a first playthough with all that camping you have to do after you take 2 pp shots from a grunt, and normal is too easy for me. unless of course the new enemies are formidable…

Well, I had beaten Halo 3: ODST on Legendary. Then I beat Halo 3 and then Halo: Reach on Legendary. Then Halo 2, Halo Wars and finally Halo: Combat Evolved. The last three I was ONLY able to beat on Normal difficulty. But I had to find out which difficulty I would be ready for. And now that I have beaten all seven games on Legendary solo (Anniversary counts as a game, right?) I can honestly say that I will start the campaign of Halo 4 on Legendary solo, and that I am ready.

Heroic on the first level to see how I do and then probaly Legendary because I play all Halo games at this level.

Going with heroic, here’s why: I personally like to enjoy the beauty of each mission and all the story and characters in the campaign. I’m looking forward to the campaign, so I don’t want to worry about beating it on legendary at first. FYI only 41 days to go!

Normal, just for getting through the story. Afterwards I’ll switch to either Heroic or legendary.

Normal first, so I can breeze through the game, take in the new story, learn the new weapons, and learn how to handle the new enemies. After that, its solo Legendary time, and then find someone to do co-op Legendary with.

Normal then legendary

Solo legendary. Knock out as many campaign achievements as I can in one run and jump into multiplayer.

> Solo legendary. Knock out as many campaign achievements as I can in one run and jump into multiplayer.

This guy knows what I’m talking about.

Also, why is there a consensus that you will miss out on story if you play Legendary? That doesn’t sound logical to me.

In theory legendary co-op, but will most likely do heroic solo
