What difficulty will you start on?

Back in Halo 3, I felt I was finally enough of a Halo veteran to start a new Halo game on Heroic. But after getting held up by some snipers in Arrival, I bumped it down to Normal.

Come ODST and Reach, however, I finally became skilled enough to complete Heroic runs of the campaign the very first time.

I’d probably do the same with Halo 4, but I believe Frankie when he says Heroic is the new Legendary.

So what I’ll probably end up doing is going through the first time on Normal, and then skipping right up to L-Dizzle like the crazy -Yoink!- I am.

What about you folks?

Whatever difficulty lets me walk around and stare at water, plants, and sky bubbles.

Heroic because it’s laughably easy in all the games. Legendary will take too long to play in 1 day for me.

Man, Solo Legendary is the way to go

Normal. I don’t want any of my Marines to die D: .

Heroic. Apparently, that’s the way Halo is meant to be played.

Heroic then Legendary then Co-op Legendary

Normal, of course. I like to enjoy and immerse myself in the experience.

gives medal

Normal first.

I usually start on Heroic/solo. But since the stupid skulls are back and available right off the bat I am seriously considering a Legendary/solo run first time.

Normal/Solo. I want to enjoy the Campaign in my first playthrough of it, and by myself so I enjoy all of it.

Solo Legendary. Been that way since I played CE.

Same here. It’s the way to go!

I’m gonna play Legendary solo first to see how awesome the game is. Then I’m gonna play on Normal to hunt for terminals and see how pretty the game is.

Normal for me

Solo Legendary first run…

> Solo Legendary first run…

This right hurr. Can’t wait to unlock dat Mark IV

I’ve always done first play throughs on Heroic. It’s a bit of a challenge without being frustrating.

LEGENDARY is the only reasonable difficulty, in my opinion.
