What difficulty will you start Halo 4 with?

I know its a long way off, but I’m still curious to see how this question will fair as we get closer to Halo 4 launch. I did Halo: Reach on Legendary, and Halo: CEA on Legendary my first playthrough and I’ll be crazy and say Legendary for a brand new installment. Who else will rise to the challenge?

Alright, time to spice this topic up! For your first playthrough on whatever difficulty, what is a unique trait from any of the previous Halo installments that you would like to see in the game? anything from the scenery/battlefield layout all the way down to finding a… per say… sniper rifle, on top of a ridge with a wide berth of enemies distanced away for you to shoot at (the focus being sniper rifle + sight lines) or anything else!

My personal one: I would like to see a music-themed battle (think H2 brutes vs elites vs MC).

This is slowly but surely showing people like Heroic by overwhelming odds. It’s good to see a little difficulty to this, but hey, why not step it up to the next level above how the game was meant to be played?

Only a few months left now that its mid-late August. Here is a new challenge. Lets see the numbers in this thread get higher then: 117 for as many difficulties as possible. I’m curious if any difficulty will accomplish this outside Heroic…

Heroic for the points and the challenge.
Legendary for the achievements.

Heroic.

Legendary isn’t really all that fun on a first play through. Although if I do find it too easy then I will switch to Legendary.

I enjoy the campaign more when it is on Legendary. I hardly ever play it any other way. I feel if I do it on Legendary right from the start, it is easier than switching from Normal or even Heroic.

As always, Legendary will be my first playthrough.

For me it’s:

Easy for exploration, glitches, and easter eggs
Normal for… pretty much nothing
Heroic for casual plathroughs
Legendary for challenge

I would start with normal campaign because i dont care about the campaign.
Just give me a epic multiplayer.

1st Heroic solo
2nd normal (easter eggs, skulls, glitches)
3rd Legendary solo/co-op
4th and on, whichever still needed for achievements and challenges (if that’s carried over, which I hope it is)

I always run normal first to get a feel and explore the story
then heroic to explore and do mission specific achievements
finally legendary to pick up the legendary mission specifics and get the difficulty achievements.

Normal for exploring and just figuring out the plot. Then heroic then legendary.

Also solo/heroic, first time. I like to enjoy the game while I learn the layout. Legendary 2nd time, after I have a taste of the game and know where I’m going…
