What difficulty are you going to start halo 4 campain on when you first play it?
Legendary
Heroic
Normal
Easy
I’ll be heading through on normal at first.
I always play my first playthrough on Heroic, hard enough to keep me focused, and not as death-filled as a legendary run.

Then Legendary 4 player.
Legendary, because I know I can.
Normal so I can digest everything without having too much trouble.
Heroic so I get a challenge, focus on the story without as some one said the death filled runs and I get to see the surroundings bc surprising their is a lot of story being played in the background (Reach you see the Falcons vs Banshees or the glassing of NA or Halo 3 the space battle)

same here, i want to get used to the controls and mechanics before i go jumping in at the deep end.

It has been stated in the past that Heroic is the canonical difficulty for a halo campaign.

Huh, interesting. I’m gonna be playing on Normal no matter what, though. I want to play through the game and enjoy it, but also get an Achievement for beating it.
Normal first for story, then legendary solo.
Like many others, Normal first, Legendary later. I MIGHT do Heroic in the first try, but I want to get used to the Prometheans first.
Normal for me 
Heroic (or Normal) solo first. Then either Legendary co-op or solo, probably.
Heroic
As always, play it on normal and enjoy it. Then go back for a legendary run (on my own, I know!). I won’t do the legendary run straight away though. I’m looking forward to see how the multiplayer is like.
Take a good look at my channel background. I didn’t discover this stuff by just playing on the highest difficulty every time.
With Legendary, one has a very simple mindset: finish the level as quickly as possible. You don’t often take the time to take things in, especially when you’re under pressure.
But with Easy, there is so much potential to discover. Hell, you can even find strategies for Legendary by playing on Easy (that’s what I did)! I’ve seen a lot of CE campaign masters play on Easy. Not only is it more fun and immersive (you’re a powerful killing machine) but you have a lot more freedom and lack of obligation.
So my answer is Easy. I rarely touch Normal and Heroic can hardly be called worthwhile (except in CE). I played Legendary after playing all the levels on Easy. So after Easy, I’m gonna do Legendary!
