Is it recruit? They are comically bad and almost worse to have on your team especially in slayer when they go 1-15 basically giving the other team free kills. Or when they grab the oddball and just run randomly around the map. Can 343 at least use the odst or spartan bots for fill ins so your team still has a chance? It would be more fair and fun for everyone.

Yea I always feel bad when I start a match and the other team has two people leave and they quickly get filled with bots for the rest of the match. Its almost an auto win.

Probably on marine I’d imagine.
I believe it is marine, which is worse than nothing. It would be cool if the difficulty somehow correlated with the players mmr or something. Marine probably works well in a match full of newbies.

MMR lvl bots would actually be pretty sweet. I do like the auto fill bots though, because Halo has always been one of those games where if the negative on the team leaves, your team may actually have an advantage 3v4 (in Slayer).

Yeah, definitely worse than nothing. As bad as 3v4 or 2v4 Slayer is in ranked, I’d rather be down 2 people than have one marine bot. I don’t get it, they designed great bots (ODST/Spartan) but then don’t use them.

I thought the bots in ranked matches at least are ODST difficulty. But it’s been a while since someone left a ranked match, so I cant confirm.
I’ve only seen Marine Bots so far, and I didn’t think Bots could backfill into Ranked.
Bots don’t fill in ranked. You can start a match 1v4 if your teammates quit/disconnect before the game loads. Feels bad.
I had odst once. Not sure if ranked or social. Could definitely tell the difference. They at least broke even. Not the usual 0-20
343 needs to add odst bots to replace players who quit, marine bots are too weak
