I’m not too dissatisfied, as I know it lowers my pool for gold packs, but seriously, -Yoink- emblems. I have (only… ha) 18 ultra rares to go and 5 legendary emblems. Great. Should’ve know they would be in these packs. What a cheap way to over saturate the REQ system.

Only 100 Emblems are actually in the REQ system. The rest come from Commendations, Ranking Up, or other Exclusive Packs. There are actually more Loadout REQs than Emblems.

Indeed, and without emblems people would simply be whining on the forums that there aren’t enough unlocks to earn.
With some people already well over Spartan Level 100, there is no way 343 could keep up with well-designed permanent REQs to satisfy them all.
Unless of course they increased the cost of Req Packs…to which people would complain as well.
I got: Infiltrator Saboteur Armour, Mako Darkwater Helmet, Venator Cestus Armour, War Master Augustan Helmet, Look Skyward stance and thats it

I’m expecting to get all legendary it the next pack. Why? Because why not?

Woah, I think that even without emblems there is plenty to unlock. The loadout weapons are almost as bad, as I only use about 6-7 of them. But I can’t argue with a new magnum variant, that’s cool.

Indeed. The most important thing about Halo 5 is endurance. You will have every REQ at some point; just not usually in the order of your choosing. Reach actually takes longer, if only slightly, than Halo 5 to complete the Armory. I’m pretty sure there are a few players with a completed REQ Collection who haven’t payed a cent, and it’s been nearly 4 months since launch. I highly doubt that there were as many Inheritors 4 months after launch.
I’m waiting until wednsday or later his week for the hammer storm. I want some Ultra Rare Decimator.
Thinking of buying, but don’t spend much time in Arena, do you get any weapons at all? Any Warzone boosts?
I will let you know later on this week when the new update comes out as of right now I get REQ points only so I’m going to wait until the new update.

It is a pure cosmetic pack. You will get 3 permanent unlocks per pack and only cosmetics (armor, emblems, skins, visors) and the rest will be arena boosts.
Pack 1: Scout Observer (helmet), Reaper Grim (armor), Eva Leonov (helmet)
Pack 2: Ruptive (DMR camo), Raijin Sprite (armor), Arrow (emblem)
I opened up only one pack and I got The forge monitor emblem and 2 uncommons.
