What did they mean with this about Forge?

"Was the entire Grifball arena built in Forge or is it one of the 3 Forge pallets? -N Y K R Y L L

Grifball, regardless of “where” it lives, was created independently and specifically as its own thing. The environment is somewhat moot. Frankly, it had WAY too much time and effort poured into it, but we loved it."

Taken straight form the Bulletin. Now what did they mean with this? I’m not good in english and would be glad if someone would help me out here.

Does this mean that they built that whole arena out of forge pieces? Or was that a map itself?

It’s a small area of a larger map, sectioned off with Forge pieces.

> It’s a small area of a larger map, sectioned off with Forge pieces.

Oh…

I had hoped it was built entirely out of forge pieces. It’s still great to hear that the map is bigger though.

In beginning states this is a forge world map with lager terrain outside, this is a small court made, outside of this court is " a much larger area" described in beginning, they just havent announced the full map yet

I like how originally Frankie said they weren’t going to support Griffball.

Now they’ve apparently spent “WAY too much time on it”.

When did he say that?

Considering the original idea was to not include it and they decided to do it for the people who like it… it is technically “too much time” that they could have used possibly tweaking other game modes etc

SO basically, they are saying that the Griffball arena, that you’ve seen, is a part of a forge map. So it wasn’t “created” in forge, it is a part of the map. But most likely, there will be other griffball arenas made.

Griffball is it’s own gametype now, so it’s not an assault variant.
