In the new E3 Trailer for Halo Infinite, the Pelican pilot says something after “We lost. Lost everything. There’s nothing left for us here.” but for the life of me I cannot make it out. I’ve listened to it over and over again and it sounds like complete gibberish to me. Can anybody else understand what he said? Maybe it’s in another language?
That puzzled me as well. I was thinking that we lost the UNSC Infinity, lost a huge battle against Cortana’s Created, or something else that happened that we don’t know about.

I updated it after listening a few times, he does mumble when he says it.
I thought he said “There’s nothing here, something memories,” but now I think it’s a different language.

Challenge: understand a trailer
Nothing’s sticking when I hear it still. At least I got those last two syllables.
Could it be that Cortana activated the Halo Array, but the UNSC Infinity was destroyed preventing the Halo Installation we see in the trailer from firing? So they saved 1/7th of the galaxy? Maybe that’s what he was talking about.
Yeah, the subtitles on Youtube said “I don’t know where here is.” That’s about all I got from it.
I think he said something along the lines of “wherever here is” saying how he doesn’t know where he is in relation to human occupied space.
