Seriously, can someone please explain to me what the above underline segment means? I just don’t understand it. I think im just too tired to understand what she meant by it.
Anyways, I think its just a waste of time on 343’s part, considering they’re trying to help out the competitive community, by giving them what they DONT want…In this case a rank only viewable by accessing waypoint. Don’t other 3rd party websites already do this? Im soo lost here :S
Great so instead of finding anti-cheat and anti-boosting systems they just hope that by hiding it from the game that the boosters will stop caring about it.
There’s one problem with that: The players will stop caring about it too.

What kind of logic is that?
“Hey let’s eliminate the Stanley Cup, the Stanley Cup rings, and the Stanley Cup banner. Let’s just have the NHLPA and no teams and whoever wants to get together on weekends to play a game of shinny is welcome to join, just make sure you have the ice booked first! Maybe we will air the game on TV, maybe we won’t. This is the new NHL, just so nobody cheats.”
Who is bs angel and what kind of dev team is this?

Thats exactly what i thought initially, I understand a visible rank being annoying for casual players who might not be so good or w.e. OK…
But why would a in game rank be a nuisance to casual abusers, and cheaters? Also what is a casual abuser??
No offense to her, but her message is unclear, its poorly worded if I may say so.
It takes 343i 6 months to basically do what Halo Tracker is already doing? Maybe it takes that long to fully export all of Halo Tracker’s Data and import to Waypoint lol. Oh and they have to add that super sweet graphic behind the 1-50 number.
Isn’t it funny how 343i basically has been trolling us? They came out and said “Our ranking system will NOT be a simple 1-50” …and that is exactly what we are getting.
Where is the new an intuitive CSR? Sigh.
It will be released in April with a Population of ~40k. (if that)

Well the majority does considering the current population. People need to admit that they’re wrong when they’re wrong. Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t.

but numbers can be misinterpreted by th lieing man and women and numbers can be bent and broken to appeal to the lieing man and women.
April isnt early 2013, and its taking them nearly half a year just to implement halo tracker into their waypoint app.
Way to troll your competitive community. Though looking at the population falling you might have realised that the competitive might have been slightly more than 1% of your fanbase…
This means I will keep using Halo Tracker’s true skill. It is probably more accurate than what 343 is making. Halo Tracker is MUCH easier to navigate than Halo Waypoint. Halo Tracker has more comprehensive stat tracking (barring game history). Honestly, this Waypoint-only CSR is completely meaningless. 343, why are you even wasting your time on something that can be viewed only on Waypoint? Waypoint is a joke. It’s a pain to navigate. Instead, you should focus on improving the game, or make a meaningful, in-game ranking system.

Are you implying that people left because of no trueskill system at the start and it not being visible when implemented? Or that people left at all?
