What could ruin "Invasion Tuesday"

This thread is pointless to some of you but as alot of us know that the election is on Tuesday. and this could ultimately affect our first time experience with halo 4. now for all of you who are out of the states I bet you guys will be having the time of your life. and nothing to really worry about. but as for the people in the states we are going through a process where there could possibly be a change in leadership or how things are run. and sadly the people in the East got the worst of it.

The thing is I am so stoked for halo 4 coming out this Tuesday but then again I also am going to be really focused on the election which is really going to be affecting my experience and im sure alot of yours too.

I really thought that 343 could of chosen a better date to release the game. a few days later wouldnt hurt but we all know that is too late. so it is going to be alot of hard decisions on Tuesday. and Im sure many mixed emotions among us.

I thought I would just see what you guys had to say about this.

Tuesday is an amazing date for 2 reasons.

  1. Before cod.

  2. On a day many dont have school or work thus increasing sales.

In all honesty, I dont see this as a close election like the past few, that and you can just go vote in the morning and check the results at night.

You couldn’t do early voting? That’s what I did today

who votes nowadays anyways…no president that i have lived through has had an impact on my personal life in any way…so all day halo for me!

The day after election would’ve been better. 11/7 would’ve made much more sense. I’m going to vote, and I’m going to play Halo 4 or I will be arguing on these forums. Either way, I hope the person I want to win wins

We had early voting, lol.

I’m voting first thing in the morning and then once I get Halo 4 I won’t pay any attention to the election until I stop playing for the night.

I voted by mail so I’m ready to game it up

I’m not American, but I’m still not seeing the problem here.

Pardon my ignorance.

Don’t worry there actually isn’t one.

Your vote really doesn’t matter because we are using the outdated system of the electoral college. It was originally used because back in the 1700’s and 1800’s most Americans couldn’t read so they used the electoral college that only used literate Americans to decide for the uneducated masses. Now Most Americans can read and write so the system is outdated and should be removed so a better system can be implemented.

Don’t worry friend no matter who wins, you can play away your sorrows in Halo, OR celebrate with your buddies about who wins (while shooting them in the face of course)!

No school but all Halo for me and voting doesn’t take too long does it?

Ill get Halo 4 at midnight, play all night long, then go vote sometime during the day. Anyone who won’t vote because they got a new video game isn’t someone I want voting anyway. Voting doesn’t take a huge amount of time and I feel like people make up a lot of excuses to avoid it.

All of that aside, it’s fine to release it on Tuesday. It’s very, very, VERY easy to do both.

but you see it means more to me than that.

I wont mention who but I am really affected by this election and I mean really for certain reasons different that other peoples. but at the same time I have been longing for halo 4 and I would like to be focused on that but it was just the date that was so wrongly planned in IMO. it my opinion Thursday would have been the best date.

Unless an hour or two away from Halo 4 is.

Well if you really are effected by this election then just vote. Its clearly the more important thing to do if it effects your actual life. Halo will be waiting for you.

But see its more than voting for me. mt rights as a citizen stand in the balance of the mere future. (long story) yet I have poured so much into halo 4. I just dont know what to do!

I VOTE, as well as all those Americans that care about more than just themselves!!! If you think no president you have lived through has effected your personal life, your being ridiculous. Do you have a car, buy groceries, have a job. All of this, and more, is both indirectly and directly related to the leadership that we vote into office. So yes people do still vote. To the OP, I completely understand. I serve in the military, so election time is kind of unnerving at times.

Voting takes like 5 minutes…
