I haven’t seen one of these topics started so I figured I would start one!
I’m running stock Recon layout (I can’t play halo any other way) 5/5 sense, 1 deadzone. On an elite controller, the left paddle is jump the right paddle is melee and the top left paddle is ping!
It’s super nice having ping in an area that’s more accessible I don’t know where I would put it if I had a normal controller.
Bumper jumper, I just can’t realistically use ping, but everything else is okay. If I had an Elite I’d do one paddle to use equipment and one to ping. I play on 3.5/2.5 sens, everything else set to 0 except Deadzones set to 3.
KBM isn’t working right now but my mouse has two side buttons so I’ll probably map melee to one and equipment to another, scroll wheel up to switch weapon, down to switch grenades, click scroll to throw grenade. By doing that I almost never have to take my fingers off of WASD. I play on low sensitivity too, not got it set up for Infinite yet as KBM doesn’t work on Xbox. Low sensitivity is essential for me to play Halo.
