It took a friend 8 months of credit maxing, and nonstop grifball grinding to become an inheritor in HALO: Reach; however, in Halo 4 players have already achieved 130 (the max level). I am well aware that people still do play video games for the fun of it. As will I continue to play halo 4 till I buy HALO 5. But here’s my thoughts.
Install a tier system for specializations.
Wetworks Tier 1: run silent, assassinations faster
Wetworks Tier 2: Dont show up on radar
Wetworks Tier 3: Invisible on promethean vision
Operator tier 1: Faster recovery time, more health
Operator tier 2: 2x recovery time as Tier 1
operator tier 3: Immune to emp, immune to being stuck by grenades
Pioneer tier 1: Little extra xp
pioneer tier 2: Twice as much as tier 2
Pioneer Tier 3: 2x xp of match
Pathfinder Tier 1: faster cooldown, fast while walking
Pathfinder Tier 2: Sprint with turret (like any other weapon)
Pathfinder Tier 3: turret never overheats
Engineer tier 1: Shows ordinance drop locations
Engineer tier 2: Early access to ordanance
Engineer tier 3: Personal ordinaces automatically equipped, and all timed drops have waypoints.
Stalker Tier 1: 5 seconds of last person that killed you
Stalker Tier 2: Shows last person that killed you till you kill them, or someone new kills you.
Stalker tier 3: Shows waypoint of person that killed you to entire team, with 50xp reward for killing them.
Rogue Tier 1: reduced Recoil when hit
Rogue Tier 2: No recoil when hit
Rogue Tier 3: No Recoil or bloom when firing, and faster rate of fire
Tracker Tier 1: “re-roll” personal ordinance drops
Tracker Tier 2: 2 “Re-rolls” of personal ordinance.With 4 weapon/equipment options.
Tracker Tier 3: Create personalized personal ordinance drops using 343 Format (Letting you choose what kind of rocket launcher/sniper rifle, ect you want, with slightly more favorable odds of getting power weapon.)
That would add 160 additional levels (bringing the new total to 290), making it more prestigious, and game play is more greatly affected by what you chose. giving the player to actually specialize in there preferred game styles. Cause honestly, I can barely notice when I use a specialization, or when they do. I think this would add excitement, and additional level of skill, strategy, and problem solving to defeat your opponents playing style.
Then MAYBE, create 1 specialization at the VERY end, to make it a nice 300 levels, but make it really long to get there, that allows specializations abilities to not take up a tactical or support. In other words, all 8 specializations are active… Plus a tactical package, and support upgrade. But in order for that to be fair, Those 10 levels have to be legendary. (That would be a prize of any players dreams, not an emblem)
makes me kinda fear that the game will indeed seem less rewarding after I hit 130, which I expect to do within a month, maybe a month and a half after getting my cap lifted.
