Don’t discuss “it”, just say your colors.
Is there a story behind it? Why them?
I use some shade of blue and white.
Started with these colours in Halo 4 because blue team’s secondary colour is white. This way my spartan is unchanged while playing on blue team.
I also tend to use armour-variants with a quite large amount of secondary colour in them so that my Spartan sticks out from the rest of my team.
I go for cobalt and white because blue is my favourite colour and white compliments it really well.
Cobalt and aqua, my favorite colour and also my go to for any game, just a habit since i was young, can’t remember why.
I dont have a standardised colour but I frequently go white and purple on Halo 2/3/4. Reach is either forest and white or blue and white.
Steel and blue. I would actually prefer a darker shade of gray, more of a charcoal but I take what I can get.
While my current avatar has Grey and Red, I still prefer my basic grey and black that I had in Reach. Prefer the more basic soldier look.
Dark blue as my all around due to it basically being the same hue in every Halo and is my favorite color plus it’s one of the least noticable colors out there.
I liked H4 Cortana colors so I tried to replicate them on my Spartan and emblem. I honestly can’t remember what I actually put since I did this long ago and haven’t checked since, maybe cobalt, or blue. But yeah you get the idea.
Black and red on 5. On 4, navy blue.
Blue/cobalt and white (like the top two posters, heh), has been for most of my Halo career. Blue’s one of my favourite colours, and a buddy of mine also thought it looked good against the mirror of his red-and-black Spartan (We played a lot of Doubles back in the day, so it looked cool if someone was looking at our profiles).

always rock black as prime and red as second. done since halo 2 being able to pick two colours

Gold (or yellow) as my primary because… if you can’t figure it out then I can’t help you.
My secondary changes game to game, but it’s usually dark grey or black because I have no originality
