Okay, this is for weapon / game mode specific challenges.
What challenge do you have / have had, and do you get it quickly or does the mode / weapon suddenly feel like it doesn’t exist anymore? I’ve seen a few recently needing BR or Mangler matches yet not getting them.
In my experience I played BTB slayer and Total Control 15 matches straight, while having Stockpile and CTF challenges, before getting a single Stockpile match.
How’s it looking now for people?
I have get 1 killjoy, get 3 backsmacks, 3 triple kills.
I’ve had one killjoy before I got the challenge in my active ones, haven’t come close since. Skipped the backsmacks because I’m never getting that. Triple kills still not active bit I’ve got a few already. Imagine I won’t get may when it’s live.
My first 3 where get 2000 score in FFA, play 5 FFA matches and 7 headshots in Tac Slayer.
So i went for the FFA first ofcourse, so i got the 2000 completed and did 4 of the 5 matches now. And the last match i finaly for the first time didn’t face an extremely skilled player in a FFA match but all average players, and i actually won for the first time (narrowly with 21 kills, while the number 2 had 20 kills). So that was nice for once (not that it make me like FFA though…)
I dont remember, played 1 game…shut xbox off.
Currently playing a different game lol.
For the event exclusive ones, I’ve done in four matches: play one match, get seven and then later fifteen kills with the sidekick, and get a triple kill. Coming up I have to get seven BR kills, get one double kill, get four distinct killing sprees and then one more later on, complete five matches, and get fifty headshots. I got very lucky there.
1 killjoy, 2 wins and 7 BR kills, all in Tactical. Those were my first 3 challenges. I played 4 games of Tac Slayer so far. Lost all 4, and they were all Sidekicks. No random killjoy either so 0 progress in an hour.
5 challenges left… so 15/20 done… then capstone… ill finish tomorrow… hopefully…

What’s a ‘distinct’ killing spree compared to a killing spree?
As it has been for me, opponents get better with those kind of challenges, making multi-kills extremely rare.
This, this is what I’m talking about.
BR kills but four matches of Sidekick. How was the scores on the matches? Roughly, if it was constant blowouts?
Extremely, I played two and a half hours and I think I completed two challenges.
I think it is different killing sprees.
Meaning running riots, frenzies and so forth does not count.
Get spree, die and get another spree would count as two. While spree and frenzy counts as one.
To be honest, and im not 100% sure on this, but i almost feel like i gamed the system. I didn’t do more than 5 challenges total for the last 2 weeks. Maybe it isn’t as rng as we think? Since i didn’t do challenges for 2 weeks, the system behind all of it gave me easier ones to “encourage” me to go for challenges this week… Seems like it could work the opposite way too… just my theory… 
I have had weeks before where i had 8 completed by Friday of that week and i barely get capstone done in time… but it was the 3rd week in a row i went for the capstone… so, who knows… 
I have to get 7 backsmacks in Tactical Slayer.
Who does that? Nobody plays that way.
This basically encourages me to troll my team. So dumb.

I uninstalled. First time I lost interest in Halo.
It’s hella rigged. The weapons demanded in challenges are the ones I barely get in-game. The anectodal evidence is piling up to a mountain. We just don’t have the code to prove it.
Don’t need the code.
Just the statistics to show there’s an anomaly going on.
Unfortunately that requires weeks of rigorous book keeping of active challenges and what you get during that time, to pit together graphs and whatnot.
Well I barely did any challenges last week because I didn’t want the reward, but this week I have a bunch of bad challenges. That said, I’ve been having some good luck on finding the matches I need.
I’ll share a secret.
Streets is the best map to do it on. And Mangler SWAT is the best mode for it.
I have to come across the challenge where I have to earn a triple kill.
Have to get 3 triple kills. How do you do this so easily? Hardly anyone clusters close enough to get a triple on swat especially if you get behemoth or launch site, your chances are slim. Behemoth you get spawn killed beyond belief. Launch site you run a half mile to find someone only to get shot from behind.
I would use a challenge swap but im maxed out in the battle pass and used my swaps on the previous special events. If 343 is going to give us crap challenges then the least they can do is issue us with like 3 challenge swaps per special event when each event releases.
This challenge, or even tac ops event, sucks if you’re just a casual gamer.
Also, mangler swat…why?! Who asked for this!?
I will try to get the Mark V Zeta helmet since that looks cool. The ultimate reward looks pretty close to the existing green visor I already have.
And I also don’t have any challenge swaps left anymore. My battle pass is maxed out for a while now and that was the point when I lost interest in Infinite.
