Ok, so we know that Chief can survive being Composed by the Composer or any device like it. We also don’t know what else she gave him except the ability to communicate with the Domain. (evidenced in Halo 5 when he had the ‘vision’ of Cortana summoning a Guardian)
What else can he survive?
What else can he do?
We’ve been given little information about his full capability since the Librarian altered him in Halo 4. We can rule out that she simply unlocked his ability to survive the Composer. She likely unlocked all of his abilities, but he doesn’t know how to tap into them yet.
Could he, in theory, survive a Halo going off?
Teleport?
Fly?
I’m so curious as to what he actually CAN do now.

Yeah probably not, maybe levitation, but flying? Only with a jetpack would that be allowed lol
Seems like his new abilities are more of supernatural ones rather than Superman types. So, for example, I don’t think he’d be able to survive a Halo going off since that’s effectively a bomb.

Yeah, that’s a good point. I’m curious where his “genetically advanced” arc leads to as well.

Maybe they’ll cover more on it in Infinite? I dunno, I was hoping we’d get something in Halo 5, but really all we got was a hint that he can communicate with the Domain. And even that took quite a while for a few people to realize what it was (myself included).
Seems like that plot point was mostly just forgotten. Would be nice if they bring it up again, but I somehow doubt it.
