What can be done, and the reality of the halo's popularity

“This one is machine and nerve, and has its mind concluded. This one is but flesh and faith, and is the more deluded.”

this quote is ment for chief and arbiter

i see 343 and their fans

this past update was slightly disheartening, i can’t say im surprised… i saw the hype build and was like… oh boy… this wont end well.
the reality of a relationship is that once one party looses trust and faith… its is insainly hard to repair, especially if its due to what they perceive as a betrayal
and i see that all over the forums rn… the word betrayal

343 u hyped everyone for forge,… convinced them it was out in September then last min changed ur mind
you hyped up split screen and coop, launched a flight test then cancle half of it
you launch the game with a 6 month season that falls flat,… day dont worry we learned and launch another 6 month season that falls flat then turn it into a 10 m9nth season that after this… i wont be surprised if it falls flat.

what can be done,… the reality is the fans of the series feel left behind and betrayed

lack of open communication… this whole situation could have been far less of a slap to the face if you actually do what you say you are gonna do… do not change deadlines last min… do not cancle fan favorite features, if u need time… say so… do not make ur fans see you as greedy and out of touch… do not add to hype if its just going to be crushed… people who try to defend have stopped

think about that
no one wants to defend you because no one believes in you… they have just begun to pray halo makes it out ok
and thats sad to me
whats worse is the only ones to blame are 343 and Microsoft
listen the guys doing the grunt work dont deserve to have their work squandered,… but the ones making decisions have forgotten how to be honest with people… stop saying what you think we want to hear than last min pull away the blind fold… you are making the world a worse place for it… not just halo…

so when i look at all the rage in these forums today… what goes through my mind is,… remember when a product was made for the consumer,… not what they want a consumer to be… but what they are… human… flesh and faith… not machine and nerve… deluded by ur lies and lack of transparency and the promise of a world where halo is back where it is ment to be… not concluded to be a greedy nickle and dime machine that has lost the sense of what makes it special

“I don’t really have any conclusive metrics to go by, so it’s hard to assess what the fans want, so we’re doing our best with what we know will work”

“We hear the frustration, most importantly we feel the victimized vibe from 343 game studios, but hey we’re not going to care. We can’t, … like we just can’t”

and therein lies the problem, if you cannot acknowledge how bad things are, how can you ever expect to improve
