Sounds good, add tons of ear types and tails

I’d like to have wider thigh armor, or a way to widen the pelvis a little, to achieve a more feminine Spartan figure.

Yea proper body type customization un general what we have is garbage. Halo Reach-5 was way better

I’m really glad the skin I paid 2000 credits for is now on sale for 1200 credits, epic gamer moment

Oh just keep it simple:

Tear everything we have down, and put Reach customization back in.

No, a mix of 4 and Reach. Halo 4 and 2A is literally the only game with customisable leg armour from launch. Reach just has utility and knee pads

Ah right, yea that’s cool too.
Reach + 4 + Core system for other races would be the best then. Core system kinda already existed since 3 and Reach anyway with playable Dinos.

Banished weapon customization

Step 1 - More MJOLNIR Armor Cores

  • Mark IV Gen-1

  • Mark V Gen-1

  • Mark VII Gen-1
    (https://www.deviantart.com/sgthk/art/Master-Chief-Desert-Scheme-272380086)

  • Mark VI Gen-3

  • Leonidas
(What I like to call Spartan Laurette Agryna’s Armor Core)

  • CLASSIFIED
    (ONI Hunter Gen-3 Armor Core)

  • Helioskrill Gen-3
(MJOLNIR Gen-3 rendition of Elite Armors, inspired by Halo 5’s Helioskrill armor set)

  • Helljumper Gen-3
    (Obligatory ODST Themed Armor Core)

  • Headhunter Gen-3
(Merger between MJOLNIR and SPI Platforms)

  • Gladiator
(Spartans that decided to join the Banished to survive on Zeta Halo, their armor a hybrid of Human MJOLNIR design and Banished engineering.)

  • Mark VIII Gen-3

  • Mark IX Gen-3

  • Mark X Gen-4

Step 2 - Cross-Core for Mainline MJOLNIR Armor Cores in the following areas -

  • Helmets & their respective attachments

  • Shoulders

  • Wrists

  • Gloves

  • Utilities

  • Knee Guards

Step 3 - Universal cross-core for the following -

  • Armor Coatings

  • Visor Colors

  • Armor Effects

  • FOTUS Brand Armor Accessories
(Cat Ears, the Chest Teddy Bear, Pineapple Grenades, Candy-Cane Shiv, etc.)

Step 4 - More Fractures Armor Cores + New content for older fractures Armor Cores.

  • Example - New helmets for the Yoroi armor core based off of the Hayabusa and Shinobi Helmets of Halo 3 and Halo 5, plus that scout helmet we see in one of the emblem icons.

  • Fractures Belos

  • Fractures Blackguard

  • Fractures Drengr

  • Fractures Epimetheus
(Alt-timeline where the UNSC Infinity was composed by the Didact, but the Spartan augmentations led to side effects. His Promethean Titans were unable to be controlled by him, now individuals connected by a Hive Mind. Titan Armor Core is simply a Forerunner style artificial body-type.)

  • Fractures Reclamation
(Alt-timeline where Humanity were absorbed into the Covenant. And then upon the discovery of a Halo ring, learned the truth that THEY are the Reclaimers and that Halo was a weapon. The Great Schism happened, with Chief Master John and Fleet Commander Thel Vadamee doing what they can to prevent galactic extinction. Armor cosmetics is designed to be covenant stylized, sleek with curves and covenant-style texturing. Armor Core - Oathbreaker)

  • Fractures Doomwalker
(Crossover between Halo and Doom. Spartan-Stylized Praetor armor with slightly reimagined cosmetics from both Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal. Armor Core - Preatorian.)

  • Fractures Coalition
(Crossover between Halo and Gears of War. Spartan-Stylized COG & UIR armor with cosmetics resembling key characters from the franchise. Armor Core - Meatgrinder)

  • Fractures Wasteland
(Crossover between Halo and Fallout. Spartan-stylized Fallout Power Armor, with cosmetics resembling the many different types of Power Armor featured in the Fallout franchise. Armor Core - T77-S Power Armor)

Step 5 - Playable Sangheili Elites make a return. For ranked play, they are unavailable for use, but in all other game modes they are fair game. Their armor cores are as follows -

  • Covenant
(Classic Halo Elite armor style from Halo CE, 2, 3, and Banished Elites + some depictions from the novels)

  • Arbiter
(Arbiter stylized Elite armor, with variants that show how each Arbiter from first to last had their armor specialized)

  • Heresy
(Halo 2 Heretic Elite armor, with new variants added in to diversify the selection.

  • Storm
(Halo 4 and Halo 5 stylized armor core, with some Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer armors put in. Though these designs are redesigned to better fit the slim nature of Halo Infinite’s elites.)

  • Silent Shadow
(Halo Reach stylized armor for Elites, adding in the Silent Shadow armor cosmetics seen in Halo Headhunters as a bonus)

  • Fractures Armor Cores for the Elites as well, to compliment the Fractures Cores we see on the Spartans. That would mean Fractures Tenrai, Fratures Entrenched, Fractures Drengr, Fractures, Blackguard, & Fractures Belos.

Step 6 - Overlap Cosmetics. Why is it that my Warthog cannot have mudflaps AND a front bumper change? Why not let our vehicles and weapon attachments allow for overlap? This would mean -

  • Warthogs can have slots for alt-bumpers, windshields, hood ornaments, wheels, & mudflaps/rear bumpers.

  • The AR can have a muzzle attachment, cheek-rest, and a cosmetic topper to to boot (eagle cosmetic)

  • Warthog, Rocket Hog, Gauss Hog, and Razorback should have all cosmetics be cross vehicle. It annoys us all I am sure that when you buy a cosmetic for the Warthog, it cannot be applied to the Rocket Hog; which has the same exact body

Step 7 - Rework the shop to be a hybrid of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Two separate shops in which we can buy cosmetics.
One that has the majority of cosmetics, which we can buy with either in game-earned tokens like in MCC’s Exchange or with credits that we buy with money.
Another shop that we can buy items with only IRL money currency, which contains probably 10% of the cosmetics in the game and the bundle of items that will allow players to unlock Master Chief’s Mark VI Gen-3 Armor Core and its battle-pass of items, though other cosmetics will be available in the regular shop outside of the battle pass that unlocks the base items for the armor core.

Each Armor Core should have its own separate shop tab, allowing for all items to be available for purchase no matter what time it is. After all, with how the shop is now; the more Armor Cores we add will mean that players that want the JFO Armor Bundle will have to wait MONTHS for it to be available again in the rotations.

Events will allow items to be obtained without having to spend tokens on them, instead having to get the new items in the event pass. This way if you missed out on the event, you can still get the items in exchange for tokens.

And the front tab of the shop will be similar to how we have it now, featuring bundles of items that are on discount for the week, with a daily item bundle that rotates out every day. This way players can have items on discount. With holidays featuring a discounted bundle on all Armor Core shop tabs, so a single bundle that is NOT the weekly bundle is available for purchase at discount of both tokens and microtransaction credits.

I pretty much agree with everything that you just posted and I must say dang that was a post.

The only thing I’m going to argue against or give my opinion on is that not all wrist pieces are going to be a universal fit for cross core and also playable elites is not a necessity and I shall elaborate on that.

I guess I’ll start with the wrist piece and say that because the arms are different shapes for the cores that having wrist pieces that attach onto them means doing a lot of extra work to try to get each individual wrist piece that can be added to function with all the cores arms as is and that’s not even including the desired option of allowing us to change the arms. Realistically it’s too much work for not enough payoff.

As for the playable elites there’s a few issues with that and a few reasons why it’s not been done since Reach.

When Bungie originally included elites in Halo 2’s multiplayer they opened up a can of worms they weren’t expecting to be there. They quickly realized that the size difference between the character models of the Spartan and the elite caused issues with areas they should be able to fit if they were a Spartan but don’t necessarily fit if they’re an elite. They also realize that the larger model would be guaranteed to take more damage because it would get hit by more shots. The only way they could really balance this was by squatting the elites down to about the same height as the Spartans, but this did result in them being much wider when looked at from a profile or head-on view. So they were still much larger than Spartans were. So to fix that they increased the elite Shields slightly and did a few more minor tweaks under the hood and also inadvertently crested a dead space in their neck in Halo 3. They changed playable elites in reach specifically so that they could better represent the towering alien monstrosity that they were. By doing this they gave us elite Slayer where everyone would have the same model size and it would be fair and also gave us what is many people’s favorite reach game type which was invasion. So when they made these changes in reach they gave them better Shields and health regen because they weren’t using health packs and it was still a pretty good and balanced game, but because of how reach worked if they did allow us to be an elite or Spartan all the time in any game type then that would have really thrown things out of whack. So realistically the only way to have playable elites in a Halo multiplayer is either to do it like they did with reach where they can be properly represented the way they should be or to bastardize them like Bungie had to do for Halo 2 and 3. Because of these issues I don’t believe it is a plausibility. I know 343 said never say never, but that doesn’t mean that it can happen or will happen.

I understand you have your opinion and you like the things you like. Nothing can really change that and I’m not trying to change your mind. I’m just trying to give you some information as to why they are more likely to never put playable elites back in unless they’re done the way reach had elites. I too would like to see playable elites, but for me it’s not a requirement and I understand the reasons behind not doing it.

Infinite’s customization is actually better than Reach, it just sucks how much they limit it.
If we had everything unlocked with zero crosscore customization, I would pick this over Reach any day.

Also, back attachment and banished weapons/vehicles, gimme

Oxymoron much?
I mean, yea if they make changes to Infinite’s customizations according to what people have suggested, Infinite’s customization is indeed more indepth than Reach’s.

Problem is: it’s not, and it’s way more suffocating than Reach’s atm. So my point still stands.

Pretty sure it’s Naomi-010’s MJOLNIR armour.

No, your point doesn’t stand.
They just need to lift the limitations, not backtrack to Reach’s system.

The Mark VII Gen-1 is said to be based on the design of the Mark V Bravo that was depicted in Halo Reach.
Naomi-010 is wearing the Mark VII Gen-1 in the Kilo-Five Trilogy, and this artists depiction of an alternate version of the Mark VI design COULD be very much something along the lines of what we would see as a Mark VII Gen-1 standin.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . why do we even need Armor Kits when we can just customize our Spartans to resemble the characters?

I wish they would have the characters original Voice Actor assigned to the kits to at least make it cooler…
