What Can 343 add to mcc

I kinda want to see them add invasion to Halo 4 somehow, either as a red vs blue mode or by getting a form of the H2A MP Elite biped working in it’s engine

Make Invasion a social playlist.
Add the old Team Mythic playlist (6v6) to H3.
Add the missing maps from Halo Online.

Armor effects have been by far my favorite thing in any and all Halo titles for multiplayer! Bring back the stinky garbage green smelly!

Don’t worry about that - all armor is completely useless and has no impact upon gameplay. A default spartan like mine will perform exactly like one with any or all of the worthless armor variants.

All of us know that. You dont have to waste your time here. Let other players have fun and go from here

Nothing, mcc is dead and their focus is on infinite, season 8 was the last season and is the final season

Wouldn’t you rather 343 use their resources to fix infinite like adding the haunted helmet from reach, and other known issues before going back to a game they said was over

well firstly: they literally said in yesterdays update they’re still working on MCC, they aren’t even close to done with it yet. All the removal of the seasonal format did was push updates back into the traditional format; meaning updates no longer have hard deadlines for when they need to be completed, and fixes can be released independent of content drops (which they confirmed they were still doing, albeit at a reduced volume)

as for the second point; to be honest? no. I’d rather 343 pumped more development into adding more content and finishing MCC like they promised rather than trying to convince people that Infinite wasn’t a misfire.

God yeah. Honestly an overhaul of H3 Forge is my biggest wish.

  • Way more objects, particularly terrain and water chunks and foliage.
  • Way higher object limit.
  • More features like skyboxes and grouping objects together etc.

CE, H2/H2A, H3, H4 campaign: multiplayer spartans/elites included under multiplayer cosmetics toggle (for H3 co-op, corresponds to preferred species), Bandana skull for all campaigns

H3: “prophet” class armor from halo online, halo 2 style Ranger chest piece for elites, flyable pelican/phantom, forge world from reach (if possible, would be awesome)

ODST: “Spartan Mode” custom firefight setting (changes players from ODSTs (cosmetic and gameplay) to Spartans (cosmetic (their H3 mp spartan) and gameplay))

Reach: more visor colors, drivable elephant, flyable pelican/phantom

H4: some armors from H5 (Athlon, Helioskrill, Anubis), playable elites

A new Progression System like in Halo 5 with Spartan Rank (till SR152) and Divisions ( Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Onyx, and Champion).

Can already tell you that won’t be happening. MCC has a battlepass system and it’s pretty guaranteed not to change.

Honestly I think 343 needs to up the private file limit to AT LEAST 150 maps PER GAME. Forge is a big part of Halos longevity even moreso with the custom browser, and a private file increase will absolutely ensure MCC doesn’t suffer from something as shortsighted as “lack of storage space”.

It was in a blog post, they said it doesn’t seem practical to do stuff in 2 games, they will do small updates, seasons are big updates, small updates like stances like in halo infinite but nothing major

But their wording still leaves it up for a possible future season but nothing guaranteed since infinite launched

New non-scoring skull that turn the First Person camera into a 3rd Person camera
Envy and Anger skulls added to the rest of the halo games
Adding Pure Flood form to firefight as well as Infections forms (we only have so far combat form and carrier)
New Firefight maps
Replacing the current energy sword in Halo 2 Anniversary campaign with the one from the multiplayer
Option to choose menu theme and soundtrack

A player’s generic rank in this game only means that they have played a lot, it’s not indicative of their level of skill. Were there to be a number next to their name or a symbol, either way it would equate to the same thing. It would be as useless as all of the armor.

  • surprisingly enough the 3rd person skull is actually a dummied out legacy skull in ODST by default, it just needs to be cleaned up a bit and made usable (which I really hope they do alongside restoring the assassin skull to Halo 3)
  • Every Flood form was available in the flight, just not in the premade floodfight mode (Infection forms only spawned when carrier forms died.) the only enemies that were missing were Stealth Elites and Spec Ops Grunts (as well as Brute Trackers, although they don’t really have a role unless they make them beam rifle brutes like the ultras on Tsavo Highway)
  • supposedly there was references to Firefight maps in Halo Online, though all of them were just from ODST Except a remake of Beachhead from Reach (I would actually be over the moon if they added it simply because it’s a funny little reference to Buck being in New Alexandria during Reach)
  • I would kill for Menu Music and SFX settings; having the ability to disable dynamic tracks in favor of selecting the music of each title including the unused Halo Online menu music, as well as select legacy menu SFX over the generic MCC SFX would be a dream come true.
