Seeing as how it seems Jetpack is quite powerful still (watch 1 game of MLG), I am thinking about switching to Recon or Boxer, as my current layout, Bumper Jumper, basically makes AA’s like Jetpack useless (you can’t aim while using). Anyone else thinking about switching it up from their current layout?
I am gonna try a few of them then find my fsvorite.

Well, I wanted to use default, because it’s the perfect layout in Halo: Reach. But they made it terrible with the button placement for Sprint and Crouch…
And the fact that I hate Recon means I had to switch to Bumper Jumper and that’s what I gotten used to in the last two months. I hate it that I can’t use things like Jet Pack, but yeah, I don’t know what else I can use.
Maybe Boxer, I looked at it and the only thing that’s different from ‘my perfect button layout’ is that Melee and Grenades are switched. And the fact that they are still both on my index fingers means it actually seems pretty good.

Yeah man, I’m really starting to lean towards Boxer. You can aim while doing the three of the big four: melee, grenade, AA (unfortunately not jump, although Jetpack makes up for that). About all I can ask for.
Which ever one has RB for melee.

I’ll try out Bumper Jumper out but i don’t know. It seems the controls for Halo 4 are borderline clogged up.
Recon was the closest to what I’d prefer. It ain’t perfect but I’ll manage.

I’ll stick to Bumper Jumper. I switched from Default to Bumper Jumper in Reach because I needed to jump and shoot. I don’t need Jetpack, I just need my BR, a good strafe, and the ability to jump and aim.
