Go to the weapons feedback. All other million threads related to this have been moved.
They could just up the health/shields after making those settings. Could even it all out, I guess.
There’s nothing wrong with buffing the other weapons up to the DMR. Even Halo 3, slow as it was, had faster killtimes than we do now.
Why do some of you people want slower kill times?, I don’t get it.
H4 DMR- 1.47 sec
H2 BR- 1.43 sec
H3 BR- 1.53

The other guns should be buffed. Now if your talking about aim assist and magnetism I agree it should brought down. Also I feel that the DMR’s RRR should be brought down to match the LR but other than that its kill time should be left intact.

Slower kill times allows the player being shot time to turn around and fight his attacker. The alternative is something like SWAT or CoD where it becomes a twitch shooter, whoever sees someone first wins.
It’s like people have selective hearing, but with text.

So Halo 2 is a twitch shooter? Give me a break. Those kill times that I posted and you quoted are nothing like CoD.
Nothing is final.
But why shouldn’t the baseline for all other rifles be the DMR?
Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it… whatever that will be!

But by what I understood they wont change any aim assist, RRR, BM from the DMR. I don’t mind its killtime, that may remain unchanged but if it stays that easy to use then I don’t see much benefit. Also they mentioned they would increase LR’s RRR x_x to match the DMR, should be done vice versa.

I’d like to see an aim assist and magnetism nerf as well.

1.5s is more than enough time to turn around, dodge, and fight back.
CoD has killtimes of around 0.1seconds, literally. Halo is nothing like that.
IMO buffing the ARs damage output without decreasing its effective range is a rather large mistake and hopefully that will be addressed
The AR is already crazy strong and has too much range on it (IMO) decreasing the aim assist is a start but the bullet magnetism and range really need to be reduced if they are going to buff the damage

Oh shut up Kerm. Buffing the other weapons is a good idea. But they’re NOT making every weapon an easy unskilled weapon.
Buffing the BR to 4sk and the Carbine to a 7sk are good buffs and that’s how they worked back in Halo 2.
The DMR’s firepower is fine all it needs is to reduce the Aim assist and Bullet Magnetism and should be balanced.
