Alright, as I’m way behined on lore for Halo what books should be my number one priority to read, in order to get caught up on the lore before Halo 5 releases. I’m currently reading glasslands. Thanks in advance!

Those books for sure in the link, but I would also read The Fall of Reach, First Strike, and Ghosts of Onyx. That way you will be in love with Blue Team like the rest of us.

Already read fall of reach/onyx/strike.

Since he said behind and not something along the lines of “I’ve never picked up a Halo book in my life.” I had assumed he had read those.
Fall of Reach> The Flood (Optional) > First Strike > Onyx > Kilo 5 Trilogy.
Those are the ones you have to read. The story continues on in those books, and kilo 5 explains what happened to blue team.
Contact Harvest, Cole Protocol, Broken Circle and Hunters in the Dark are all really good. They are more standalone than the others, but all worth a read.
I’m currently going through the forerunner triliogy, and I can’t stand the pacing. Still trying to get through cryptum, but honestly i’m finding it quite boring, and its written differently than the other books. I’m like, I will read some more of cryptum tonight. *goes to bed about to read. Nah, maybe tomorrow.

new blood, hunters in the dark, the escalation comics(-Yoink- art aside), hunt the truth podcast
you could read the standalone novels after ghosts of onxy, but skip kilo-5(IMO it’s trash, but if you have to just read the parts with blue team and halsey)
You should read Hunters In The Dark, as well as the Kilo-Five Trilogy.

use these for H5 then if you haven’t been up to date with the H4 material read the Kilo 5 trilogy

Definitely. Prioritize what’s in the graphic, then branch out from there.
As a before halo 5 prep… kilo 5 trilogy definitely. kinda preps you for ONI’s BS
