What armors aren't in the gold packs?

I’ve been told that some of the armors I want can only be bought through an actual pack, like Mark V Delta, EOD, etc. Those are in the classic helmet pack.

Are these helmets in the gold packs? Or are they exclusive?

Pretty much, what’s not in the pool to pull in gold packs?

Besides the Achilles set, the Athlon Champion and the Challenger set are only obtainable through chs packs whenever they are available. Nightfall and the Helioskrill armor sets were once obtainable outside the req pool but are already in the req pool as of now.

Not in req packs… The helmets from the classic helmet pack(which is buy only right now in the Xbox store but may become available for points in the future.). Achilles helmet and armor available by joining a Spartan company and completing the company commendations… HCS challenger and champion are unlocked by purchasing the HCS team packs (but I am pretty sure challenger is no longer available it was an exclusive). All the others are in the req system. You can get nightfall by watching nightfall on the Halo channel and Helioskrill by completing MCC on legendary (no skulls), but they are in the system as well.

The following pieces cannot be obtained through Gold Packs:

  • Achilles - be a member of a Spartan Company - Athlon Champion - Can be obtained through standard HCS packs in the Mircosoft store for $10 - Challenger - Watch the 2016 HCS Finals or through a Gold Pack for a limited period of time. Currently impossible to obtain. - The classic helmets - Can be obtained in the Classic Helmet pack in the Microsoft store for $10 - Olive helmet - get one of your Forge maps selected for matchmaking - Timmy helmet - play 50 total hours in Customs

To clarify on the Legendary thing, you can have skulls on, as long as they aren’t 0x score multipliers. That means no bandanna or scarab skulls, but thunderstorm, IWHBYD, cowbell, and so on are fine.

I completed Halo CE & 2 on legendary with the 0x multiplier skulls and the achievement unlocked for me. With Helioskrill, I’m unsure as I unlocked the helmet a day before I finish both Halos on legendary in MCC.
