What Armor Should Return In Infinite?

For Halo Infinite, please list the various armor permutations that you’d all like to see making a return for use in multiplayer, regardless of what game(s) they’re from.

  • Mark V (B) from Reach. - Mark V Alpha Body and Helmet From Halo 5… or the Mark V from Halo 4 Infinity Pack. - Mark V Delta Helmet from Halo 5. - Mark IV/GEN2 from Halo 5. - Mark V Commando from Halo Reach - Mark V Scout from Halo Reach - ODST Armor from Halo 4 - GEN 1 Recon from Halo 5 - Mark VI EOD from Halo 4 - Mark V EVA from Halo Reach - Mark VI (the whole thing) from Halo 3. Sure, we’ve seen a recreation of it in the E3 Announcement Trailer, but I just want to be safe. - Hayabusa armor from Halo 3. - GEN2 Air Assault From Halo 4. - Mark V Security from Reach. - Military Police from Reach/Halo 5. - Mark IV Grenadier from Halo Reach (Jorge’s helmet and whatever armor).

all armors from all halos. many with redesigns to fit with the new/old art style, but still keeping the armors recognizable. I honestly really want to see Stalker helmet return, its my favorite

EOD is GOD, if 343 don’t put that in, I’d probably kill myself.

that reminds me, Maybe if EOD returns, if 343 put in unlockable helmets instead of ones from rng packs, maybe EOD will be a legendary campaign completion helmet, like in halo 3, but it’s just a guess.

honestly i dont want most the halo 4 and 5 armor back. just spammed up the options with a bunch of really ugly armor

I really hope H5 Helljumper makes it in but redesigned a little bit. Helmet can stay the same but armour should be more classic inspired.

All the armor (Or atleast 75%), but all the ugly or clone armors get makeovers.

I wanna see the HUNTER Variant return; i.e. Locke’s armor return. Love the stealth fighter look, with muted grey and blue color, mixed with the glowing energy conduits. Just a cool high-tech variant you’d expect from the next generation of Spartan Super Soldier.
I also love Vale’s COPPERHEAD variant. Like a Ferrari on legs. Sleek, agile, and distinct from other variants.
Helioskrill is another that pretty unique, very artistic and interesting to look at.
I like H5s armor designs for the most part. Looks more functional that the original trilogy, in the sense that the armor plate sections don’t inhibit the wearers’ movements. And seem to show of more of the tech side of the armor. Whereas the original just seemed cumbersome and bulky.
Now some of the armors in H5 are just multiple versions with just different paint schemes. And some even look terrible, I’m looking at you SEEKER!! But for the most part I like how they chose to use a basic under suit where the armor matrices attach to, makes the wearer look less bulky.

I do like H2A’s multiplayer armor configurations, mostly the Mk VI redesign, has that techsuit design with the armor attachments. Its more in line with the Halo 5 art design, which I am a fan of, for the most part. So I think a blend of Halo 5 and H2A would be a great direction for Infinite.

Rather than having hundreds of helmets and armours that most won’t use, and look mostly the same, I’d prefer they have attachments (as they did in Reach). This way, you could have say 15-20 helmets at launch, that each have 3 variants. Post-launch content could then add some more helmets, as well as more attachments for pre-existing ones. Similar sort of thing for the rest of the armour too.

i’d love for them to bring them all back and up the customizations options(with installation 01 meets doom options and the addition to had attachments like in reach)

ODST from 3. Or even Reach, It’s so clean and simple. Oh and dont keep 99% of cosmetics hidden behind the rng system

The only armor I want to return are the Security and Recon helmets from Halo 3.

Honestly, I’d love to see everything from Halo 3 and Reach included, for starters. Even if that’s all there was, I’d be content as hell. Just the thought of seeing stuff like the original Recon set from 3, or the Mark V from Reach updated in the Slipspace engine would be a dream come true.
I’d also enjoy seeing certain armors from 4/5 get updated in the new “classic” art style, for what it’s worth. Helioskrill, the Osiris and Blue Team sets, as well as staples like Recruit and Warrior feel like they deserve to get brought forward in some fashion. Plenty of fans really enjoy the 4/5 designs, so I feel like as many of the “good” ones as possible should stick around, if it’s possible to translate them into an updated armor style.
Regardless of which armors get brought forward/added, I just hope Infinite goes back to letting us chose individual armor pieces, again (Right Shoulder, Left Shoulder, Helmet, Chest, etc.), and not Just Helmet + Armor set like H5.

I would definitely love to see the return of all of the Halo 3 and Reach armors. I doubt Hayabusa will make a return. I hope it’s similar to Reach where you have the base MK V armor and then could purchase individual peices of armor. I want MK IV and V, Soilder, Warrior, and Aviator to come back for sure, alot of the Halo 5 armors looked ugly and werent unique at all. So this new art style they’re making should be good.
