I’m a big fan of the helmet, mostly because it has a sporty/competitive vibe to it. I only have the standard version of the helmet, not the HCS variant (damn you 343)! What piece of armor goes well with this helmet? I’m thinking maybe something a little bulky, since the Athlon armor is pretty big.
Nothing, really. Halo 5 has some piss-poor customization; except for maybe some of the classic armor sets, you’re almost always better off just matching up the helmet with it’s respective armor set.
Try Vigilant if you have it.
The rounded, fairly smooth design of the helmet makes it a little hard to try to match other armors with it, but I’m looking through my collection and maybe one of the following could look good with it:
-Anubis
-Dynast
-Cyclops
-Interceptor
-Reaper
-Security
Not really sure if any of them will actually look good to you, as it will depend on your personal tastes. Haven’t tried any of them myself because I’m satisfied with Centurion (though I may go back to using Warrior Blade/Shield with Security Watchdog).
I’m rocking Athlon Champion with Shinobi, the white on the helmet and armor kinda matches in a way, at least to me
