What armor goes well with Recon Gen 1?

I’ve been looking through the different armor pieces and can’t find anything that goes well with it. One of the only suggestions I’ve received is Vigilant, which I don’t have. Other than Vigilant, what armor goes well with the helmet?

I find Mark VI and Infiltrator go quite well with it, personally.

These, as well as Scout, Viper and Recruit, IMO.

Mark IV? It’s hard to find a set that looks good with any of the classic helmets… until they implement full armor customization, which we know is possible.

Achilles and Viper are my favorites for the Recon gen 1 helmet

I just used Recon RSO or Wrath Anhur and it looks good.

I personally find that the MK. VI Satrap looks very nice with Recon GEN1. In fact, that’s what my character is currently wearing. Compared to the rest of the MK. VI armors, it’s got the perfect balance between the clean look and the decals. The rest either look like a garish mess, or a really boring canvas.

I wanted to use Vigilant, but recon gen 1 looks soooo small like your playing with tiny head mode so i started using Nomad armor.

Recruit, Rec. Proven, Warrior like the photo Unyshek made, Soldier, Wetwork (Kinda), Herioskrill, Locus, Operator, Pathfinder, Recon (Regular version), Air assault, Jun’s armor & Emile’s, Nightfall, Decimator & Achilles (Kinda). That’s all I know.

Anyone else disappointed the Security helmet doesn’t look like it did in halo 3? or that the Hayabusa helmet didn’t make a return?

Security looked better in Halo: Reach, IMO… as for Hayabusa, it’s never coming back (do I have to remind everyone that it is copyrighted?), nor should it; we have enough anime-looking armor in Halo 5: Guardians as it is.

If they add more classic armor, I’d prefer something more utilitarian… like GUNGNIR GEN-1. Preferably the full set (complete with the GEN-1 techsuit from Halo: Reach), not just the helmet.

I find that the wrath armor goes REALLY well with the helm.

Venator looks pretty good. When I was looking at armor to look good with it for you, I chose Steel and Brick or black and red. Hellcat looks good with it. Recon looks okay.
