What are your video policies on Halo 4 and 5?

I want to do a let’s play of the Halo series but have no intention of breaking copyright. Let me know whether I can do this to all of the Halo games.

you can easily do any game. Let’s plays are considered in fair use and youtube thrives off that content. Halo fanmade content has been around for years starting with Red vs Blue about 13 years ago. 343i has featured youtube content on waypoint as well as on twitter.

But I’ve had let’s plays BLOCKED in the past by Activision for including the cutscenes, I don’t understand fair use because I still encounter problems. Music I can understand but in my experience it’s the cutscenes that can ruin it. And that’s what I need to know if I can include.

Can’t speak for activision’s policies, but Microsoft and 343 have no problem with let’s plays. As long as you include the content usage statement somewhere like the video description. If you google for Microsoft Content Usage Rules you’ll find all the details there

Cool, that’s why I needed to ask, because it’s not the same for everyone. Also, do 343 ownn the rights for ALL of the Halo games?

Microsoft owns the Halo IP, they own the rights to all Halo games

So I’m fine to play all of the games?

For sure! Here are the rules I mentioned earlier if you hadn’t caught them yet:
