I am very excited to learn effective strategies the community does to outwit the cheaters in the game. One thing I found really effective was just running away (before you are low on shields). Cheaters tend to over commit themselves because they are overly confident that they know where you are and what you are doing so they keep chasing. If you have decent teammates they will either trade the kill or get them before they get you.
Share what works for you! I want to learn as many things as possible because I don’t think it is going away anytime soon.
Sidenote: I am not here to argue if cheating is a thing or not. At this point in the game if you don’t think cheating is plaguing this game, there is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise.
You did better than me. My one cheater, in over 700 games, whooped me. Made me feel really inadequate. My aim wasn’t as godly as I thought jk haha
You haven’t played an onyx ranked matched since Dec. 30th…why don’t you log on in and give it a shot. I mean you did get to Onyx in only 73 matches with a KD of 1.5 and HS of 74.y%.
While pros are even taking to twitter to complain about the plague of cheaters, you saying that you have only seen one cheater in 700 games and it reminds me of the saying “If you get on a bus and you can’t recognized the crazy person, you are the crazy person”.

I get your point I’d certainly see more if I played ranked more often. I wasn’t trying to undermine what you’d said, just stating my experience. I had heard the big boys were plagued with them.
The grind of climbing didn’t really pull me in plus my friends are in Gold and Silver. I can’t bare to play Halo solo haha I need a target for my furious rants.

Sorry I misunderstood your intent. Yea, I am just curious if anyone has really effective methods for handing them. Since most of them use soft cheats, they are very beatable. So, I was hoping someone would reply with a bait situation or a game plan that may relieve some the pressure people can put on you when they know where you are at on the map at all times.
Ive had the fortunate experience to only run into cheaters a handful of times. That being said, if it’s blatantly obvious I’ll usually try to tell my team to hold hack and let them come to us. Melee beats aimbot every time.
