What are your favorite moments in the Halo games especially Halo: Reach, Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4?

Most of mine where in halo 3 and the time it looked like I beat a rocket with a BR. Another time I was about to be out gun and threw up a bubble shield and the enemy bounced a plasma off it sticking themselves. Then there was the moment I finally got an overkill in a ranked Free for all. That’s just a few but I got more.

From Halo CE the meet with the flood

That’s a tough one. There’s so many of them! Always loved tossing plasma grenades randomly and getting a stick kill.

Halo 1: Truth and Reconciliation that whole sequence has stuck with me for years.

Halo 2: ODST drop on Delta Halo.

Halo 3: Thinking this was the end of the series and thinking Chief sacrificed himself.

Halo 3 ODST: That rooftop battle with your squad. Jeez, Rookie missed out.

Halo 4: The reactions of the Marines seeing Chief again.

Halo 5: Watching the Guardians EMP the space elevator.

Halo Reach: Seeing the Pillar of Autumn leave and seeing how serious Noble 6. It’s like he knew from that moment it was all over.

I’ll be doing the games in order of chronological order in the canon.

  • Halo Reach: For this it’d have to be the spearheaded large attack charge in the opening cutscene of Tip of the Spear. It was an amazing cutscene - Halo CE: Evacuating the Pillar of Autumn with the Pillar of Autumn being flown in manually with the bad*ss music playing as the ship narrowly avoids you. If not that then the Warthog run, cause I mean come on, it’s heavily nostalgic. - Halo 2: It’d have to be the drop onto Delta Halo with the ODSTs. “Master Chief take first platoon. Hard drop”. Then the music follows up as you’re dropping just gives me goosebumps thinking about it. - Halo 3 ODST: The entire Coastal Highway mission, but particularly when the city is starting to get glassed, a sense of panic sets in, particularly with Buck mentioning Reach too. - Halo 3: The entire mission of The Covenant, but more particularly when you engage the Scarabs. The voice over the comms saying “I count two Scarabs! Repeat two Scarabs!” It’s just so strongly impactful as how insurmountable the odds are. - Halo 4: Defending the Infinity from the Ur-Didact and his Prometheans. - Halo 5: Probably the opening cutscene to Blue Team or Osiris as they were pretty cool.
