I have personally always been a fan of Jackals, and especially the Skirmishers from Reach. They sort of brought them back in the form of female jackals that are a little more aggressive and tougher, but the OG Reach variant were the coolest alien designs in the series to me.
Infinite doesn’t have quite the overpowered Halo 2 style sniper jackals, but they’re pretty dangerous still on legendary with stalker rifles, and the shield carrying ones armed with manglers will make you rethink your life.
Also they trash talk you and will even TEAiBAG you. I love these guys. Hilarious and threatening at the same time.
will admit I kinda dig the new enemy race, the Skimmers, they’re like flying grunts that go flying when you shoot em right, kinda like reach’s grunt gas tanks going off, love those guys.

I think it’s funny they hold guns upside down and stuff, getting close and looking At how they’re designed is interesting
yeh they have to had the weapons upside down in order to carry em easier, would be nice to see em more mobile and nimble in the future too gameplay wise, maybe with ones that don’t carry the shock rifle. since those guns look heavy.

I looked it up, it’s because they vibrate to produce sound, so it comes off as a sort of humming. You can hear it on maps like Assembly from Halo 3 too since they’re part of the map design

Elites are hands down my favorite. I’m so happy to see Elites returned to their nimble and elegant selves compared to the lumbering brute-like things in Halo 4-5. I also love how they actively use Active Camo in combat.
Honorable mention to the Brutes. I really like how they struck a balance with them where they are a little more tanky and aggressive like in Halo 2 but don’t have such stupidly high health.
