I know this may sound dumb, but is there anything your looking forward to when Halo Wars DE is available? Are you looking forward to the multiplayer? The campaign again? New achievements? DLC you might’ve not gotten to play?
I’m looking forward to DE because this gives me a fresh start to play halo wars multiplayer without getting destroyed by a 5 star general or something. I’m also looking forward to what the new achievements are for DE.
Is there a new ranking or will we have the old ranking?
And - is there still our old rank?

You probably won’t have your old rank since this is the xbox one version and not the 360 version. And I assume it’s the old ranking system as that is how the Halo wars was and they wouldn’t want to change the gameplay or anything to where it doesn’t feel like classic halo wars. But these are my assumptions.

I’m quite excited for the DLC, I didn’t get the chance to play it.

yeah same (especially that forerunner 3v3 map.)
I hope there will be achievements again, i would love some fresh halo achivements. I want to go achievement hunting again! If its the same ones from the frist game its gona suck becuase i dont want to grind to general rank again, but i will if i have too.

Same, from what I’ve read they’re adding in new achievements. Unsure though if that means they’re changing some of the old achievements. Hopefully not the campaign ones if they do, I’m not too big on multiplayer achievements either.

Well i aint high on expectations. Mostly just that the game works better, without those horrible freezing moments online. Oh and i’d like for HW:DE to live up to one wish i do have… That it’s TRUELY been retouched with the graphics, improved and all… not just bumped up the old version. Cutscenes still look stunning and i have no doubt they’ll look a smitch better than on the 360. Judging by the Trailer for DE, it did look like they scenes were a bit sharper and more realistic.

I don’t think it’s a remastered but I could be wrong. I think it’s getting the Halo 3 and 4 treatment where it’s graphics are just getting improved slightly with more HD, Instead of being redone.

Well, here’s to hoping it’ll be improved, rather than merely tuning it to 1080p60fps. Ofcourse i’ll love the game equally as much, as i did the old, regardless of graphics detail, tho it couldn’t harm to hope! Haha
But really, it’s gonna be the same experience overall. It’ll be good to have it on the ONE, running natively as well. Ofcourse, having to collect everything again is gonna bring back that day one feel. A great bonus tho… i finally get the Fireball warthog skin! Since all DLC is included which is pretty neat… Sadly my gamestop ran out of those codes back then… Much to my dismay
Same here. Im not expecting the jump we got from the original Halo CE to the remastered version or the one for Halo 2; but at least improved enough that we can easily tell the difference. I’m eager to see results.
Watching those amazing cut-scenes again and playing co-op in skirmish mode with my brother.
I am expecting the framerate not to crash when playing 3v3 during the battles. I am also expecting dedicated servers since this will be technically an Xbox One game now and they all get dedicated servers (the first party ones at least). I am finally expecting to actually get Glacial Ravine for once on 3v3 now that I will know everyone will have it.
This all makes me excited for Halo Wars again.
