I just tried some more Halo 4, which will be my last time for a while, if not ever. Game after game of nothing but lag. I’m curious, what are others playing since the majority of you seem to using the forums here more than you play the game (don’t blame you one bit).

i was playing battlefield3 but i got sick of that in less than 400hours on all 3 platforms(pc,xbox,ps3). i put 700hrs into my xbox account alone for bad company2.
nothing next gen has sparked my interest, besides Destiny which i have not even looked into yet. mostly waiting for martys music more than the game itself.
Halo 4 occasionally, but also Reach, Skyrim and Battlefield 3. By March next year I will be playing Titanfall, Destiny and BF4 on the next console.
I’ve been playing Halo 3, Cod Black ops 1 and 2 (mostly zombies mode, even tho its horrible in 2)

And I have been playing TF2 and Runescape on my PC.
Space Marine, Counterstrike GO, Forza Horizon, and most importantly the Necron expansion for Dawn of War 1.
That’s right, I’m cool.
My gf and I busted out the SNES. Been enjoying some Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country… a sweet relief from the lag-fest of H4.

High-5 mate.
Mostly Halo 3 and a little GTA5 on the side while waiting for Ghosts to release.
H4 is the only Xbox game I own.
H3 was laggy for me, people quit, nobody joins to replace, matchmaking gets boring too quickly for me now, I’m used to 4.
Halo Reach (I play a few hours a day multiplayer, Co-Op FireFight and Co-Op Campaign), Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST (Campaign), GTA IV, BF4 (Beta and ordered it to), COD BOPS II, Ace of Combat 6 and Sonic Racing.
I gave up on H4 on June 6th for the Posters main issue - Lag. No game I play multiplayer ever las as bad as H4 does and this isn’t my Connection. Even the BF4 Beta with 24 players playing NEVER lags as bad as H4 does.
Too bad 343 doesn’t see this and have said multiple times they are “happy” with the online game play - they obviously never tested it in the wild and only did testing in house on a local intranet.
And if the OP wants to play Halo, either download the H3 version via XBL or buy Halo Reach. One in 20 games lag in Halo Reach (use the “Best Connection” option) - where as 14 out of 20 Halo 4 games are lagged by 0.5+ seconds. Once the lag is removed form the equation, Halo is fun to play once again. Get a buddy or group to play with and you can own the infantry from your Falcon chopper and 2 gunners or jump in a Wart Hog with a gunner and a passenger and get some kills. Vehicle play isn’t neutered like it is in H4.

Pretty much the same mate, even Destiny isn’t getting me that excited, think I’m just bored of FPS though.
Aside for Halo 5(campaign) I done with FPS games next gen, they are just SO generic now, I think that’s why I’m not too stoked for Destiny. The only reason I want Halo 5 is for the campaign, love the lore of the series. But I learnt from Halo 4 to never buy a collector’s edition ever again.
In terms of what I’m playing though, it’s all about GTA online at the moment. I really want to go back and play BTB in Halo 4, but 343 still doesn’t support the DLC map packs I’ve bought for it. Thats pretty much the reason I haven’t gone back because there isn’t any variety now.
Not making some of the playlist DLC required is the stupidest thing 343 has done, that’s why I’m hanging up my ‘armour’ until they sort it out…which judging from what they’ve done would probably be Halo 9/10?
