What are you playing instead of Halo Infinite?

I’m actually still completing all the weekly capstone rewards.

In between that I’m completing HW DE on Steam achievements and also MCC China edition achievements.
Almost finished!

Once I’m finished my achievement grind, I think I’ll be playing the Witcher series (never did, pickerd up the remaster OG on Steam on sale a little bit ago, and have 2+3 from Games with Gold).

The Dragon Age series is classic and amazing. Dragon Age Origins is classic Bioware before EA got involved. DA2 is when EA got a hold of them and forced them to push out that game really fast.

Dragon Age 2 is clearly a thrown-together game but still a lot of fun. DA3 is my favorite and for a 2014 game was pretty amazing at the time. It was IGN’s game of the year that year. There is a lot of great DLC for that game as well.

Good choice!

Origins feels like a true passion project from developers and you could tell it had that old bioware charm like mass effect 1 (personally wasn’t a fan of MA2 but mostly with small gripes and the changes done) and DA2 did feel very rushed to me especially with the 1 year time skip and the dialogue wheel that took so much away from origins especially story building wise not to mention lack of areas, armor feels more like direct upgrades instead of relating to builds like origins (somehow made a tanky sword and shield build that let me still wear the beautiful templar armor late game)

DA3 was pretty good especially for it’s time but I still prefer the old charm of origins personally since it seemed more at hand and straight forward while DA3 is more open world modern rpg which I still liked, and thank you, now just got to drudge through DA2 to re-remember the butchered DA2 Anders storyline and get to DA3

The game had so much enjoyable playable content that Bungie couldn’t even maintain all of it during that time, and it’s quite justified imo.

Anyways PvP is in a good place, it’s more fun and less miserable than Halo Infinite’s MP. I can tell you that.

I was sad when the OLD combat evolved lost its server-support and though testing latter versions i got on missing especially the variant king-teams-moving target.
Between 2009 - 2012, if i remember right, that map was filled up, and nice teamings. That game was full of strategy, and the perfect complement to my main-action, playing fast chess, variants like Fisher random, Kungfu-chess, atomic and other.
I found nice friends in both Halo-play and chess (yes chess isnt only for boring old people, its for anyone and you can fins any type of personality there all over the world, its still the biggest game)
The problem with Halo is the always returning cheats, and also the bad managed servers and “clans” that in fact destroys the older nice variants, not least in the custom edition and the most popular map danger canyon.
abusers are supported and complainers are banned.
Such stupid actions doesnt exist in the chess.

I’ve gone back to the MCC for now and recently decided to start playing through the campaign again.

Mostly Forza horizon 5, but I’ve also been playing a lot of games I owned, but neglected for years along with a few gamepass games I downloaded on a whim

Bioshock remastered trilogy
Tomb raider DE
The gunk
Guardians of the galaxy
Far cry 3 remastered
Cod infinite warfare
Elden Ring
Fallout 4
Mass effect remaster
Forza Motorsport 6

I did finally get around to finishing the Infinite season 1 battle pass last week which was my last achievement for the game. I doubt I’ll play much more of the multiplayer unless more achievements are added down the road.

That is a great list. I’ve played all of those minus Elden Ring and you are in for one heck of a time. I would start with Bioshock and Mass Effect remastered trilogies first.

Ironically, both of those launched in 2007 and are two of the finest series ever made. 2007 was such an amazing year for gaming.

On top of those two games you had the first Assassin’s Creed, The Orange Box, Halo 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Call of Duty 4, Uncharted, Crysis, Rock Band, The Witcher, God of War 2, Guitar Hero 3, WOW Burning Crusade.

I would argue 2007 is one of the best years ever in gaming.

2006-2011 was the golden era of gaming. I’m not sure we will ever see another era like that.

2007 is probably the single strongest year out of the group. Just so many huge titles launched that year.

I’ve been going between Warframe, Left 4 Dead 2, Skyrim, Dark Cloud 1, Fire Red, and occasional co-op in Elden Ring for the past couple months.

Just bought Skyrim Aniversay Edition. I disliked the game more than i should have years ago because i think Oblivion is better and Skyrim’s changes irritated me. I am finally going to give it another go. I have been playing Morrowind recently for the first time and it is fun but a bit dated so it can be a bit tedious. Both of those should be able to hold me over until ES6.

You might like odyssey more than valhalla just my opinion.

Agree. I found Valhalla was a lot of riding around in a boat and not in a good way like black flag.

Minus the siege part, I agree. Throw in a little dash of doom and your all set!!! :+1:

Sea of thieves is by far the best sailing experience in all seriousness.

Final fantasy Strangers of Paradise has been fun an rewarding
