For those of you who are still on the gruesome journey to max rank, what games are you looking to play after getting to 152? Obviously the main answer for most people here is Infinite, so let’s exclude that for this discussion. Are there any franchises or one off’s that you have been meaning to really dive into, but otherwise can’t because of being dedicated to H5?
For me personally, I’ve been wanting to finish up MCC cheevos and finally 100% since I’m getting close, and perhaps go for the multiplayer cheevos for OG halo games before servers are sun-setted. As far as non-halo games go, I really want to finally check out Doom Eternal, Little Nightmares 2, Back 4 Blood (when it comes out), and Ori & the will of the wisps.
I already rotate a few other games to play with my wife, but I’ll probably try to knock out the Mass Effect trilogy re-release at some point before Infinite. I’d also like to do another playthrough of all of the Halo campaigns at some point.
At this time, I haven’t really decided about the future. Some main goals are to complete the Nice Work Dawg! achievement in MCC and to get a digital copy of some games like Battlefield: Bad Company, Assassins Creed and GTA IV.
After getting as far as I can with halo 5 I want to try and complete all the season unlocks on MCC while trying to play through the Resident Evil series before village comes out.
Just a shame there isn’t enough hours in the day

Nice! I’ve personally never got into Mass Effect trilogy, so maybe I’ll check out the remastered version when it drops! And yes me too, I gotta get all those speedrun achievements for completing the campaigns under 3 hrs on legendary.

Never was really into those games either with the exception of GTA. Still gotta crack open RDR2 tho. Soooo many games to play and sooo little time.

Also never got into RE franchise. I’m assuming my “in” is the remakes that came out recently?

And yep! Reach is a game I can always effortlessly go back to. I love Invasion!!
I plan on going back to the legacy games before they sunset. Specifically I would love to finally hit inheritor in Reach and skill rank 50 in H3. Also I will be finally playing H5 Forge over the summer and getting those last cheevos I need for the series.
I used to play games other than halo once upon a time. Who knows maybe I will find time for one of those before infinite comes out as well.
Planning on playing the sunset games as well. But honestly, thinking of taking a long break after 152. Assuming borders don’t re-open, I already have documents ready for extended residency in other countries so I’ll be travelling for a bit. Not sure if I want to pick up a Series S for lightweight gaming during that time.
After getting to 152, I have the very particular project to continue to play to Halo 5. I know, I’m a weird guy to play to a game just because he like it, sorry

Good for you mate, I think I genuinely played for pleasure for my first 5 mill xp over the first couple years of H5, since returning I still enjoy the game enough to even try for it, but if I am being honest I would probably be on the MCC instead if it weren’t for the personal goal of getting that 152 before infinite.
I’ve been trying to improve my individual skill in ranked arena. It’s kinda boring but idk, I just have this relationship between love and hate with H5. We all need a new Halo.
