What Are We Fighting?

i really wanna know what we are fighting.

I just saw a post about the BR returning and a few flying enemies and if I’m being honest I’m not to interested in just fighting a bunch of sentinel variants. I’m sure 343 has some interesting enemies for us I would just like to know what they are.

What do you think we are fighting?

We know there is an ancient evil.

Is this some sort of new species? or could it be the flood.

Will we be fighting some sort of covenant species along with the ancient evil, or will they not be featured at all.

Will we be fighting the group of elites that want to kill the humans at all?

I know nobody knows yet, but lets speculate

Well, the Precursors could create entire species on a whim, so there is plenty of room for enemy variety as well as Sentinels and Flood variants. But we really don’t known.

For the sake of keeping the new trilogy as original as posible, and now that the covenant have disbanded, there HAS to be some serious innovations in enemies and alien species.

I think we might see a replacement for elites and brutes, but the new specie would be similar.

Jackals are likely to be replaced with something else with hand-held shields IMO.

No Covanent at all brand new eneimes for the new Halo Trilogy. Forerunners are basically confrimed to be the main new creature…Whether we fight them or they are on our side IDK…

343 is going to have to innovate and take several liberties.

I’m worried that we’ll be fighting a great deal of inorganic enemies, likely of Forerunner construction.

Everyone knows they will show up its just that simple. I dont want to argue but the Halo fest panel they stated the forerunners arent gone. So just wait and see. Plus dont you remember that leak of info before? Nobody knew if it was real or not and i forgot most of it…said stuff like Halo 4 would have destructable enviroments and such.
