Plasma is good against shields.
Bullets are good against health.
Hardlight is good against? Both?

The only thing I can think of is it does both equally as well but not as good as plasma/bullets. So it can take down a shield better than bullets but worse than plasma and so on for health. That’s the only thing that would make sense.
Plasma is based off of Forerunner tech, so around that area, maybe both, disintegration mostly
As far as I’ve seen, its good against pretty much everything. By that I mean I think it will be more effective against people and not vehicles.
I’ve only seen the Binary Rifle in action and it was taking people out with no problem.

I think both. That Scattershot seems to destroy anything at close range.

VERY good point! So basically any living being 
Its actually both shields and health since plasma weapons are a weaker form of forerunner weapons due to the plasma weapons low energy output. Its also health due to the fact that the forerunner weapons were made to eradicate anything organic

Most likely.
The light rifle is very, very useful in the campaign.
Maybe good against both, but not as effective against both like bullets are to health and what plasma is to shields?
Well whatever they do, they do little to no damage on vehicles.
