I can’t preorder until I see the playlists. They would normally have been shown by now. If there is no double-team, it’s a non-purchase for me. (1800+ double team games so far in Reach) 343 will you please release this information?
It is odd we don’t know more about the playlists. Especially classic. It has me worried.
That’s not a launch screen so you can’t go off that. They really just need give a list already.

I hope it has more than that. That’s what I hated about Halo 3…the game is fun and all, but most of the playlists suck and are extremely repetitive.
Action Sack is also a must.

And if Doubles is not in there, I will be highly shocked.
There will most likely be a team doubles playlist, I wouldn’t see why not. But why waste a amazing game just because there’s no team doubles playlist? It seems completely silly.
Im hoping for a regular BTB playlist. Not big team infinity slayer.
I just read a post from back in June where 343 said the wanted to “streamline” playlists because there are too many in Reach. I guess I don’t see the point. The more playlists the better. Who gives a crap about population of a particular lists? If there are only 20 guys playing capture the flag, I’m sure they appreciate that playlist being there.
And if the argument is that it’s taking away from the population of other playlists, I disagree. If the population of a list is low, it won’t make that big of a difference in a more popular playlist. Furthermore, people like me just won’t play at all if our playlist isn’t there. What’s that doing for population?

what are you talking about, why would RB not just take you to custom games? thats how it works in every other menu screen.

pressing LB would take you to the forge emblem on the left and pressing RB would take you to the game options on the right.
it doesn’t make much sense if you needed to press RB to flip to another page of gametypes, why not just scroll?
Now that I’ve asked a few people about it, hitting RB might just take you to the Custom Game lobby and the stuff at the top that says “Selecting playlist…” is just a progression of the menu’s sort of stuff.

Why would you be shocked? There isn’t a single map that’s small enough for 4v4 gametypes, let alone 2v2.

The playlist itself seems a little underwhelming as well wheres team snipes? or swat? there’s no real reason why they would get rid of these and make oddball/CTF its own playlist.
Then again it could just be placeholder because I remember reading somewhere that they haven’t quite finished deciding whats going to be the launch playlists yet, and that was about 2 weeks ago I think.

I agree with this to an extent. As I said earlier, Halo 3 was extremely repetitive and got boring/frustrating easily as a result of the lack of variety.

With everyone having sprint now, Maps that once would be deemed large, are actually smaller than they would appear.
IE: Adrift seems to be too big, but with sprint, it is just fine for 4 on 4.
