We all know that H5G will focus on the Guardians but there is very little information on them aside from the fact
that they are Foreunner and cause destruction on a great scale. What is their origin? What is their purpose?
Why is there no information on them in Forerunner databases? Will they be weapons or as a defense against a greater threat?
Welp I just wanted to try and start a discussion so chat if you want to
They were built by the forerunners to essentially be planet police.

Weeooh, weooh, motha-yoink-ars!
I think they may be planet-killers.
In the Forerunner trilogy, Bornstellar witnessed a fleet of Seekers, Warcraft no larger than 20 meters, ripping out huge chunks of the Prophetâs homeworld and sending them crashing back down. That was their method of planetary bombardment.
The Guardians are over 1,400 meters long, so their power must be truly immense.
As for their purpose, thatâs fairly obvious, if my theory is correct:back during the Forerunner-Flood War, they were used to destroy planets overrun by Flood infection. With the Floodâs possible return in the future of Halo, it would make sense for the Forerunners to leave these Guardians for Humans to claim, as they would be perfect for eliminated the early stages of Flood infection.
Claiming an army of Planet-killing War machines would be a huge game-changer for Humans on the Galactic stage, as it would secure Human dominance in the Orion Arm and beyond. But, the idea that ONI might get their hands on the Guardians is truly a frightening thought, as thereâs no telling what they would do with them.

Well, if they were created to fight the Flood, then it would be safe to say that they are âGuardians of the Galaxyâ.

Was there any information on who the Forerunner Wardens are? Iâm more intrigued about them. Do they protect the domain or something?
