Is there a name for the creatures on the map Abandon in the tubes? Is there any lore behind them?

I thought that they look like the Fallout Deathclaws.
They’re most likely part of the local wildlife, and are being studied.
Considering how when they were showing the map Abandon ( I think it was IGN or something), the guy made an effort NOT to show the creatures, I’m assuming they will eventually have some sort of significance to the story.
