Just genuinely curious. The Halo 5 one was really cool and I see a lot of potential with how cool the Series X looks.
Halo has always has a console bundle (and it’s always really cool), I’m surprised one hasn’t been announced yet.
Maybe they’re waiting til E3 for that?

Yeah that sounds about right, and hopefully a beta will be announced alongside it, so hype for this game man.
In normal circumstances I wouldn’t be surprised, but given the fact that production shortages are the main cause of the lack of available XSX consoles I’d give it a 50% chance of a bundle.

My thoughts the same, but hopefully we find out soon. I’m worried if they do make a Halo edition scalpers will be all over it sending it to exorbitant prices.

100% chance of this happening. I just wish that Microsoft and E-tailers were able to just implement CAPTCHAs to stop bots. Making the console a brick-and-mortar store exclusive is another possibility, as it’d help enforce 1-per-customer limits.

Yeah. Going to have to echo the sentiments here. If there is a special edition that is coming pre-launch, then I’d expect it be a sweepstakes type-thing or an extremely limited quantity because of persisting shortages. If anything, they’ll probably do a special edition in mass quantities once they get some more stock next year after launch. That’s my guess at least. I personally decided to snag a regular series x recently because I’m not betting on it anymore given the current situation with consoles. More important for me is playing the new halo on the new xbox, bundle or no bundle.
It’s extremely unprofessional for 343 to hold off on this information for so long. The Xbox Series X is already hard enough to get. They could at the very least let us know they do not plan on making a limited edition console so everyone who was waiting on the news could shift their attention to procuring the regular one.
Like stated a few times, normally I would say 100% we’re getting a bundle.
Due to current circumstances, its probably 50/50. If I were you, I wouldn’t hold my breath. As much as I want one too, I don’t think it’s coming in the sense you’re wanting. I don’t think it’ll be a themed bundle. You may be able to get a console and the game with another controller or in game items, but that’s about all I could see at this moment in time.
