What are the certification reqs for?

Just wondering because I couldn’t find information online.

They increase your chance of getting that particular item in future REQ pack openings. An example is getting the Saw certification, leading you to get more Saws in your next Req pack.

pretty sure they are just for playing warzone? I dont see any benifit of any thing req related for arena. kinda just wondering the same same thing. not sure.

It doesn’t just increase the chances. It actually unlocks the ability to get that item in the future. At least to any useful extent. Ever wondered why no scorpions dropped till you got the cert? Yup. Magic.
